Boulevard Motel

It was one of the nicest and cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. We had the queen deluxe, and it was huge and beautifully furnished. Staff were great to deal with. Room was cleaned and bed mad while we were out for the day. Short walk to town. Will book again if I am ever in Stanthorpe again.

Everything was great, good location, walk to town. Only negative is they need to upgrade there Wi-Fi, second stay in 3 yrs and still no better ☹️ All and all nice and comfy and warm.Plenty of room in a family suite, backs on to walking tracks and river.

We stayed in the room at the front of the motel which the receptionist, at check In described as the honeymoon suite. If this was the honeymoon suite there was no privacy offered after dark as the curtains in the room on the main window did not close. There were standard curtains on the window and also some sheer drapes. They were both on the same track not on different tracks as is usual. The result was that the black out curtains did not close fully. The sheer curtains bunched in the middle allow early morning sun to enter the room and possibly allowing people passing by to look in. As I said the room was at the front of the motel near the road and also had a public park at the side we’re the curtains did not close. I asked the receptionist how we were supposed to block out the sun and prying eyes and she said she had never noticed the curtain arrangement before. She happily got us some pegs though so we could have a little bit of privacy by dragging the curtains over the sheers and giving us a modicum of privacy. Parking was also not available near our room. We were told to park around the corner and drag our bags up the steepish driveway to our room. We were both extremely disappointed with the room and the parking issue because the room itself was lovely. If I were to book here again I would definitely not want the honeymoon suite.
