There are two separate family rooms on different floors with a 65-inch smart TV on the main level, and a 70-inch smart TV on the lower-level. The main family room is off the dining room and kitchen. Sliding glass doors open to a large upper deck with plenty of outdoor seating and a large Weber propane grill. Wildwood Cabin is only a 10 minute drive from downtown Cashiers. The open living area with oak floors, pine walls and ceiling has lots of windows to bring the mountains inside. The large covered screen porch has plastic roll down windows and a fireplace for cooler days. This 3 level home comfortably sleeps 14, with 2 King Suites, 1 bedroom with two queen beds, Queen sofa sleeper in upstairs sitting room, and built in bunk beds in the lower level rec room. Trillium Lake and Links Amenity Privileges may be purchased at a rate of $75 per day or $350 per week for your entire group. North Carolina Mountain home in Cashiers/Glenville/Highlands area, nestled in trees, with Cedar Creek view & gated access to Lake Glenville, a few minute's walk from our home!Home has 3 levels: Main floor/mid level entry; stairs on main level access floors above & below. There are 3 bedroom en-suites (2 queen, 1 king/master). Each floor has a bedroom/full bath for ultimate privacy when needed! Great for 3 couples, a family w/several kids, or extended family. We have a queen sleeper sofa in lower level den. Sleeps 8 total: 6 bed spaces, 2 sleeper sofa spaces.A few “must knows”:- We do NOT allow pets. No exceptions. Violations entail a fine & eviction. - We are a NON smoking residence (in house or on porches). No smoking litter on house grounds. This keeps our home clean and enjoyable for all guests! - We have: central A/C & heat- not needed often (3600’ elevation). We mostly use the plentiful windows, to enjoy cool, fresh mountain air, in addition to a whole house fan in upper level loft & bedroom ceiling fans. There is a window fan in master. Summers are generally temperate- we are a shaded mountain property. - We provide linens, “start of stay” paper products and many kitchen expendables. We have 2 driveways- one to front, one to back of house. Both are paved, significant inclines that are easily accessed by 2WD vehicles in normal seasonal weather, but in snow/ice FWD, AWD or 4WD vehicles are optimal. Otherwise, plan to use ice melt on drives. This beautiful, Craftsman style home, was well built, with detail and care, to embrace the setting. There are many windows and plentiful, aesthetic porch space to optimize time spent outdoors. All in excellent condition, well cared for. Fish Camp at Waterdance is a unique property located on the river in Cullowhee North Carolina. The ultimate nature experience and a bonus if fly fishing for trout is your favorite pastime....you'll have the river all to yourself! Disclaimer - we cannot, for obvious reasons, guarantee that you'll catch any trout. You are more than welcome to bring your furry friend upon approval and there is a $150.00 non refundable pet fee per pet (maximum 2 pets). NOTE - Recent improvements: The cabin has heat and air-conditioning. There is a new mattress in the master bedroom and the cabin now has high speed, reliable internet via Starlink. There is a full size washer and dryer. This 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin has a rustic feel yet is extremely well appointed and meticulously presented - It is still an authentic log cabin and is not airtight, which may result in a visit from a field mouse and such. We do have pest control however that is not 100% a preventative. The main floor includes the living room which has a large wood burning fireplace as well as satellite TV and a DVD player with an extensive DVD library for your enjoyment. We have some board games for rainy days. There is a covered porch off the living room that overlooks the river.The dining area has a lovely wooden table that seats 6 and is located off the living room and just outside the kitchen. The kitchen has a gas stove and is well equipped for your stay - you will find all the pots and pans, Tupperware, cutlery and crockery that you will need.The master bedroom is located off the living room and dining area - there is a gas fireplace in the master bedroom - there is a small porch off the master bedroom that overlooks the river (20 feet away!). The master bathroom has a walk in shower as well as a tub with a river view.The upper level is home to the 2nd bedroom which has 4 twin beds (beds stack up on each other) and the bathroom has a large tub.OUTDOORS: There is a firepit for your enjoyment. There is a covered pavilion on the waters edge that has a large wood burning fireplace, built in grill and picnic tables that you are able to use.FISHING: Guests at Fish Camp at Waterdance are allowed to fish upriver as far as they would like and are welcome to fish downriver ONLY AS FAR AS the pavilion. We ask you do not go downriver past the pavilion as that part of the river is controlled by Brookings.
