Great place to explore Long Island from We stayed at Patrick’s place for two days and can only recommend it. Not only was it cheaper for us than most of the hotels around, it was ideally located to explore Long Island and we had the privacy and space of staying in a local, residential area. The apartment itself was great, much bigger than anticipated, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and a comfy bed. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, clean, kinda quiet First the positives, it was clean and it had everything needed for us. It was just two of us, I think any more than 2 two and it would be small. We were in town for the holiday and did not spend a lot of time in the rental. It was well equipped and safe. As others have said, I didn't realize it was a basement apartment until we arrived and I looked closely at the listing. I tried to enter using the front door and the tenant upstairs was kind enough to redirect me. Because it is a basement under an occupied home, you did hear footfalls and other noise. The tenants upstairs were not loud at all, the noise couldn't be helped. There was also an air conditioner in the bedroom window and it let in a considerable draft. Not sure I would stay again, but it was much cheaper than hotels in the area and conveniently located.
