Bora Bora Hotel

Located in the quiet north of the resort, the 3 Star bora bora Hotel is one of them places where you get what you pay for. Yes the breakfast isn't the best yes there can be problems getting a sunbed only mentioning these as it seems that most people want to come on holiday and winge about these things I stayed in the hotel next door last year the 5 star Helena park and in my opinion the bora bora is far better value the beds are OK the bathroom is OK the staff are all helpful there's even English tv channels for you even a kids cartoon channel the wifi us good enough to stream movies and sport the cleaners are lovely but don't speak English there are plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance or hop on the land train and venture into the centre

Hotel was spotless rooms cleaned every day breakfast was repetitive not much variety but still good always something to eat which was fine pool was lovely and plenty of sun-beds around the pool. Staff were friendly but lacked customer service overall short walk to the beach and can get on a litte train that takes you along the front with plenty of bars restaurants over all a great stay. But sadly will not be returning to Bulgaria as it not very LGBT friendly. Warren and rob

Came to have a look around this hotel last year to see if suitable for a family holiday. Was really impressed at what I seen. Small hotels usually offer a better service in my opinion. Unfortunately there was no where flying from where we live to there so booked through balkan holidays instead. We all know what happened next. In a panic trying to book something else, we seen this hotel from a airport a little further away and thought we just go here We arrived Monday afternoon and as soon as we got there people were super helpful. The lady on reception who i met the year previous was as ever polite and a quick and prompt check in we were taken straight to our room which we had requested a ground floor and this was honoured. Hired deposit box for 30lv for the week. We get in empty our bags then straight out for lunch at the restaurant. Fair priced and always good quality. The boys who work the bar work hard and always polite and respectful. Good selection on offer to We did read before we got there about the sunbed situation but every single day we found plenty available all times of the day. The pool area always clean and tidy, but Factor 50 is reccomended. Also the breakfast yes its basic but there is something every day for even the fussiest eaters to choose from my kids are fussy eaters but every day there was no problem as there was something different every day and they had no complaints A short walk to the beach. Also the land train in right on the beach 6lev per adult and 3lev per child that takes you into the centre and flower street. The hotel is situated in the north area of the resort but is quiet and ideal for families or couples. The centre is a 30 to 40 minute walk and during peak season the beach front is over crowded and can be a nightmare to navigate. But this hotel and area around it there is plenty to see and do and avoid the hassle and bustle. Also behind the hotel is a great little bakery Pancakes from 5 lev, burge5s etc plenty of goodies on offer, has a nice court yard to eat in aswel The cleaner was amazing aswel. She cleaned our room every single day, new towels beds made she truly did an amazing job Room we were in has been renovated compared to the older photos on here. I been to sunny beach 16 times and rarely return to same hotel more than twice, but my boys and me have fell in love with this hotel we are allready looking to booking again next year So thank you to everyone at the bora bora you truly made our holiday from the moment we arrived till we left yesterday we hope to see you all again next year

Been back a week from this wonderful hotel and and all ready wer booking for September on reading some of the reviews I have never seen as many bad reviews in any one period this is what has made me write this Rooms are definitely not dated infact they have done work on the room since we went last september around the bedroom area and it looks lovely and modern as so does the bathroom with the new light up mirror and modern accessories Breakfast plentiful and tasty and a good variety of hot food pastries cereals and jams Sunbeds are plentiful but it is selfish hard face people that spoil it when they put their towels on the beds then go out for the day otherwise it would make it possible to get a bed Benefit st I thought was a bit harsh the hotel usually has a calm chilled relaxed vibe to it although this year I did notice a few guest that cud be quite loud at times most people book the hotel because of the description of the place and want that chill factor plus it’s close to the beach which is a bonus for older people who struggle to walk I can only think that people turned up at the hotel this year because Balkan stopped operating so they had to rebook where they could find availability I can’t see the borabora being their first choice because of the location of it which is not ideal if ure younger and in a group the noisier end is prob where they first booked and finally people bringing their own drinks round the pool I have never witnessed this the housekeepers work so hard on keeping the hotel and rooms cleaned And if you need toilet roll or a clean towel just ask they are more than happy to provide you with your request

Poor points; Rooms are dated, so is the hotel. Every sun bed is taken by 7.30am and owners don’t care. If the towels stay on beds all day. We got a bed twice on our stay because the wife got up early. Other days we spent our money else where, so the hotel missed out on our £60 a day. Customers smoke everywhere and bring their own drinks in around the pool. Walls are so thin I could hear the lady snoring next door. Breakfast is terrible and lacking any kind of food quality. Coffee machine takes about 5 minutes for a small cup. Clearly the only people giving this hotel such high trip advisor score are old and get up at 5am because I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. This hotel is more for benefit street than people who want a quality time. More faulty towers than anything else. Again, 4 stars this hotel is not. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - AVOID ! Basic this is, so if basic is what you want then go and enjoy but I have standards.

We booked this Hotel through TUI, the good points are the receptionist Zyonora was great sorry if I miss spelt the name ,the bar staff were also good ,We paid extra for the large room with seaview, the cleaning was terrible ,the verandah was not swept or mopped in the ten days we were there ,I borrowed the cleaners dust pan and brush and swept the verandah as it was covered with a fine dust after a high wind it then was covered again and stayed like it till we left ,also my wife dusted the patio furniture and other items ,the toilet and wash basin were never cleaned , The meals in the restaurant left a lot to be desired ,you could not rely on the same meals ordered being the same ,I think it depended on who was cooking at the time , The sun beds were a nightmare you had to put a towel on them by 7 -30 of you didn't get one ,my wife and I spent a fortune at the beach renting the sun beds ,there was only enough beds for max twenty rooms ,and the hotel had 40 ,towards the end of our stay the management were putting reserve signs on beds for repeat customers who spent a lot of money the at bar, This is no longer a family run hotel, I would not let this bad experience stop me from returning to Bulgaria, we met some lovely locals and business people,
