Great creek for canoeing and kayaking and fishing. Cabin located close to beaches and Camp Lejeune. Local attractions include, Bogue inlet fishing pier, Hammocks Beach State Park, Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium, Fort Macon, NC Maritime Museum in Historic Beaufort, Mac Daddy's Bowling and Arcade, all within 30 minutes traveling distance. My family and I loved the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable.The cabin is beautiful and is located in a very quiet, secluded area with the creek close by. The cabin was supplied with everything we needed to include linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. The creek is also beautiful and the wife and I took a nice, relaxing canoe trip. Jim, the host was very friendly and helpful and check-in was super easy. We highly recommend this place.

What an amazing stay! Jim was fantastic from start to finish! He was timely, helpful, kind and accommodating to any and all requests! He is knowledgeable about the area and was there to assist, every step of the way! The cabin is beautifully built, pristine, and perfect for our needs! The canoe on the property is a fantastic addition; we took it almost 4 miles out! It was such a wonderful weekend and we will certainly be back! Thank you so much, Jim!

Hidden Gem ! Cozy ,quiet ,secluded.wish we wouldve found it on previous trips .Would definitely be a repeat guest! Jim was awesome, great communication and hospitality. Very clean with everything you could need. Don't miss out on this unique property seclusion in the middle of town.

Cabin in the Woods Getaway We were looking for a small place to stay near our son and his family so we could attend our granddaughters senior play where she had a pretty big role. Hotels are out for us because so many now allow pets, and none of the hotels seem to be very clean. Last hotel experience was a nightmare, so VRBO it is for us when possible. This little cabin fit our needs perfectly. It was built by the owner, using his own trees, so you can imagine the pride he has at stake. It was beautiful inside - quite small - but had everything you could ask for and what you needed. We enjoyed our stay very much and will always try to use that when visiting our son. The scenery outside was beautiful, with a small river off to the side with a pier if someone wanted to fish. It is situated quite a ways off the main road, so you get total peace and quiet - something we enjoy a lot. I would recommend this place to a couple who would just like to get away from the hustle bustle of every day life - it’s a place that will stick in your mind forever. The host was truly amazing and very responsive when needed. You could not have asked for a nicer person to work with. The cleanliness of the cabin will astonish you - it is immaculate and welcomes you to feel comfortable, like being in your own place. A true treasure.
