great Location. just a walking distance to ximending. Affordable room & very clean. definitely go back Lots of restaurant. 7/11 almost all corners. Great stay over all

Great room for singles for couples who doesn’t mind the room size. Great location and within walking distance around Ximending area. The room also comes with a small bathtub.

The bad: Many of the traveler reviews and pictures are for the Musik Hotel located nearby on Ximen station, and not for the Musik Hotel on Xining road. The hotel on Xining road looks nothing like the online pictures as well. The hotel resides in the same building as a hostel and absolutely has hostel vibes. The double bed rooms and 2 twin bed rooms are in desperate need of repair/refresh. The wallpaper in the room is stained and peeling off the walls along the edges, the rooms have an unpleasant odor, the toilet flush didn't work properly and the room phone was unable to dial out locally. The water dispensed from the water cooler also has a strange after taste which likely means the filter is long overdue for replacement. The body soap and shampoo looked like the same product and no hair conditioner is offered. To top it all off, the room slippers are made of paper and not terry cloth. The good: Proximity to Taipei main station, public transportation, and tourist sites. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We stayed in Room 109 when we arrived the bathroom had an odd scent and we told the front desk about the issue they quickly sent someone over to clean it, however, the scent remained. After waking up from the first day we noticed our floor towels in the bathroom were soaking wet and the bathroom smelled worse than it did before but didn't know what caused the issue. We found out that the bathroom drain would frequently discharge water until the entire bathroom floor was flooded and this happened frequently. We only discovered it because the water coincidentally discharged twice in the middle of someone using the bathroom. The room itself was great especially considering the price and the hotel is situated in a prime location in the middle of ximending, however, the bathroom issue soured our rating of the hotel. If you disregard the bathroom the room itself and the hotel's service were a 10/10, they would replace our towels and provide us with water whenever we asked and the front desk service was great, even allowing us to early check in without any questions asked.

There was a false fire alarm once during past Midnight. When we were awakened by alarm to rush down the escape route, the staircase was filled will dirt and debris. At some level they were blocked by unauthorized items. The hotel doesn’t own the building so they are not obliged to clean them up. But they ought to have alerted the building management to adhere to the fire safety protocols.

I really loved our stay here. The location is also convenient since it is near Ximending! The staff were SUPER nice and welcoming too!😊

Good location with clean and comfortable beds. Nothing fancy, but it’s a nice enough place to stay. The check in desk isn’t always staffed, but they allow for digital check in when you arrive. Would stay again.

Very much anticipated that this hotel will give good ambience and staff is areally good and kind. Some rooms only have toilets which doesnt function well. So basically its one of their areas for improvement

First room was so smelly room, I asked for changing and receptionist willingly to change for different one.

Nice place to stay very near to all locations have a lot of food stalls downstairs

mon to friday there won’t be any concierge services available and only weekend there would be a staff to assist. poor cleaning services as well, hotel rooms will not be clean as they would only clear the trash and provide towel. poor service . unable to navigate our way to the hotel room as no front desk service available . no password was given to enter our rooms as well as very stressful experience. poor service. won’t recommend this hotel for families.
