Nisarg Resort

I recently stayed at Nisarg Resorts, Kolhapur, for 6 days (10th-16th August) during a Creativegarh retreat, and honestly, it was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. The place has this calm, soothing energy that instantly feels like a home away from home.✨ Here’s what stood out for me: Location & Stay: The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, peacocks, and a variety of birds, all of which contribute to its peaceful ambiance. They offer a range of interesting stay options, from a truck house to a vada, to cozy rooms and villas. We were lucky to stay in a villa with a jacuzzi, and everything was immaculate. Facilities: The transformation hall, where we held our sessions, was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for reflection. Beyond that, the team kept surprising us with thoughtful experiences: - A live performance by the budding band Raga Rhythm, which turned into a melodious night under the stars. - A pottery workshop on Independence Day, right after flag hoisting, which added such a creative touch to the celebrations. - A short trek arranged in the surrounding hills, followed by an outdoor snacks session, simple yet unforgettable. Food: The food felt like it was made with love. Every single meal was fresh, authentic, and so delicious. They went the extra mile by creating experiences for us, a beautiful date-night themed dinner one evening and a traditional Maharashtrian lunch the next day, complete with puranpoli and festive décor. Hospitality: This is what makes Nisargad truly special. Mr. Avinash, Snehal, Abhijit, Akshay, Aditi, and the whole team treated us like family. Even on the days I skipped breakfast, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every little detail was handled with so much care, warmth, and genuine love. A true home away from home. Highly recommended if you’re looking for calmness, fantastic food, and the warmest hospitality. ❤️

It was a very beautiful experience to stay at Nisarg. People, food and stay were all very good. We enjoyed the morning trek as well. The ambience and quietness of the property was great. Particularly liked the preservation of the ancient Wada and the ancient tools and utensils Food quality was super. Will love to come again with our friends and family.

Excellent scenic location, River basin & city view at night is lovely. Rooms are neatly decorated & clean. Food buffet spread was ideal & Maharashtrian cuisine was very nice. Staff behaviour is supportive & courteous.
