Original Sokos Hotel Villa

The hotel is at the "wrong side" of the now ongoing (summer 2025) train track work. Even w/o said construction, the walking distance from the hotel to the parks / central / lakeside is somewhat long, especially compared to rivals like Sokos Ilves, Scandic Koskipuisto or Radisson Blue Grand. The hotel itself was very clean and cozy but lacks any kind of in-house restaurant or wine bar. All this can be found 100m away at the "Sokos Torni" -side of the complex. Even the breakfast is at the Sokos Torni side. Also the reception / lobby area is rather small -＞ there's build up queuing rather easily. Parking is plenty but spots are small and there's only few (4) EV charging spots, which is a letdown. We drove our vehicles 400m away to the "City Parking P-Hämppi" where is like 50+ EV chargers easily available and parking spots are large. We had the Junior Suite, room was clean and really nice - the mattres was exceptional (not too soft, not too hard for me, 75kg / 165lbs guy, but the pillows were bad. The normal was too hard and kind of bumpy and the alternative pillow was kind of sofa pillow?! This was a big letdown. Staff was really friendly and the breakfast (at the Hotel Torni side) was 5/5!

Nice hotel. You can use Hotel Torni gym and big breakfast. Everything work well. it was clean. Reseption has nice lobby. Extra nice: hotel has free private sauna time. With Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience -laatusertifikaatti, conditioner, shampoo, sparkling cold water and body lotion by Lumene.

Nice, cosy, small hotel. Individual, because it is old factorybuilding. Rooms are small, but cosy and clean. Situation is good, but there are little difficulties to find the hotel building, because it is behind the other bigger hotelbuilding.

I had a short overnight business stay. Everything was very convenient, quick but friendly check-in and clean room with everything you need including supplies for coffee. It looked like the room and the bathroom had been recently renovated. I had a upper floor room and the only minus was that the windows were very small so there was barely natural light. Breakfast buffet was served in Hotel Torni almost next door.

Stayed here for one night. Nice,clean room. Good beds and air conditioning. Breakfast buffet at next door hotel was excellent. Friendly staff. Peaceful hotel,good location. Would stay again. Would recommend.

Very good place near railway station and Torni. Nice, boutique room and very large at upper level . Sauna was good bonus. Many various breakfast and very taisty,healthy by next Torni hotell hall at morning.
