Villa Hotel Valle Del Marta Resort

The hotel is nice and staff are friendly. The breakfast is good and the rooms / facilities clean. The WIFI is unusable though which is a big issue if I’m on a business trip. They do need to sort this out as it not in line with the rest of the experience.

Knowing we would be driving up to the port of Civitavecchia the night before our cruise, my wife and sought out local lodging close to our cruise ship, so as to make the next day a bit easier. We could not find a local hotel with any room, so I widened our search. This proved to be a fortuitous decision, as we found Vella del Marta – and had one of the highlights of our entire 16-day, 3-country adventure. Same-family-owned for 120 years and five generations, Vella del Marta is an award-winning farm, a winery, a distillery, a boutique hotel, a restaurant, and a spa all rolled into one. The grounds are stunning, as if pulled directly from a Hollywood movie set. Excellent food, warm and inviting rooms, and a lovely pool, my wife and I were totally captivated by this magical place. Best of all, however, is the family who owns this beautiful place. Mario (one of two brothers in the 4th generation of owners) is as kind and warm of a human being as one could ever ask for. He personally led us through a (double gold) brandy tasting and a subsequent walking tour of his vineyards. Stunning and (again) like out of a movie, it proved to be a tremendous evening of connecting and enjoying the very best of Italian hospitality. Another bonus was the opportunity to meet Mario’s daughter Giorgia, who helped take care of us with a wonderful meat and cheese tray. Her infectious personality brought additional depth to our experience. We eventually learned that not only is Giorgia absolutely charming, she is also the youngest published author in Italy (!). Our only regret with Vella del Marta is that we had to leave after only one night. Wanting to take a little bit of this beautiful place with us, we ordered some of their delicious red wine and brandy to be shipped to our home in Kansas City. Sure enough, it was there waiting for us upon our return. My wife and I will be returning to Italy in the future. Be assured that our first stop will be Vella del Marta, as there is no better place to get one’s feet back under them after a long flight. The problem? We won’t want to leave! Thank you, Mario and family, for a delightful and incredibly memorable stay. To everyone else, do not miss this incredible slice of heaven. You will not be disappointed.

An amazing hotel in a beautiful part of Italy. My wife and I loved our stay at this excellent property. The staff were freindly and helpful, the property itself is beautiful, we only wish we had been staying for longer to enjoy all of the amazing facilities. It is top if our list on our next return to this area.

Luogo situato nel verde a poca distanza dalla bella città di Tarquinia, camera pulita e accogliente, personale gentile. Prezzi nel complesso onesti per la qualità offerta. Molto buono il trattamento di prima colazione, anche per chi ha intolleranze alimentari.

Alloggiato presso Casina Bella, la location più esclusiva della struttura, con vasca circolare idromassaggio in camera, terrazzo che affaccia sul fiume, camera molto bella e pulita, cena servita in camera. Insomma, una giornata di puro relax. Merita tutte le 5 stelle. Anche la colazione presso il ristorantino della struttura è molto buona. Torneremo!

La struttura è bella ben curata e soprattutto molto pulita ma non è immersa nel verde perché si trova proprio su strada e si sentono le macchine passare non ho avuto quella sensazione di relax totale. La cosa che poi non mi è tanto piaciuta è la SPA a pagamento e con limite di tempo poi troppo piccola. Sul prezzo un po’ troppo alto per una massaggio di coppia abbiamo speso 80€ una testa un po’ esagerato direi! Del resto nulla da dire personale gentile e cibo buono ma non so se tornerei.

Il resort è tranquillissimo , le stanze ampie e ben curate , il personale gentile e qualificato . La spa carina e ben curata possibilità di avere l’esclusiva ! L’unica accortezza se proprio si deve puntualizzare ma la dico solo per migliorare nella spa mancano le bevande anche un semplice dispenser acqua .straconsigliato se si vuole staccare la spina

Een prima hotel, mooie kamer maar er mist toch iets. Wij kwamen hier met ons gezin en binnen een kwartier kregen wij al de zwembad regels uitgereikt….feitelijk mochten we alleen een beetje heen en weer zwemmen en tussen twaalf en vier was het zwembad zelfs gesloten ivm het spacentrum. Onze jongens waren er al snel klaar mee. Het ontbijt is jarig en de sfeer onpersoonlijk. Het personeel lijkt onzichtbaar en niet echt geïnteresseerd in het bieden van wat gastvrijheid. Wij hadden meer verwacht van deze locatie. Wel een goede uitvalsbasis naar Rome met de trein.
