White Villa Tel Aviv Hotel

So many good things to write about the White Villa, but the most important one is the staff - Gilat and Anton, you guys were great! These two were so giving, and available that I felt like I had angels looking after my every step. Moving on to the other good things; great bed and Frette sheets, wonderful shower pressure and fluffy towels, delicious breakfast cooked just for me every morning, and hands down the best location in town. I cannot recommend this place enough and it became my home away from home whenever I make my way again to my beloved Tel Aviv!

My usual preference when staying in Tel Aviv is to be right by the beach. We rented an apartment overlooking the sea for three years but gave it up when we couldn’t get there during the Covid epidemic. I was surprised and delighted to realise that that I could be happy staying somewhere other than the beach as The White Villa was so well located in Tel Aviv. I love to walk and, apart from Jaffa and the Port, almost everywhere I wanted to get to was less than half an hour by foot. Most places were between 10-20 minutes away. My daughter lives next to Habima Square and that is why I chose this hotel. It was six minutes walk to her apartment. The building was once a family home and has been beautifully renovated retaining many original features. I booked very last minute so didn’t get to pick the room I wanted but my room was very pleasant with a bright and airy bathroom, a free fridge of drinks and all the other things you would expect from a quality hotel. The staff, especially at reception were friendly and accommodating. Even in the vegan capital of the world, not everyone in Tel Aviv knows how to feed a vegan, but chef Talia Trup ensured that I got exactly what I wanted for breakfast. The things I didn’t love were, because of the position of my room, and the lack of sound proofing, I could hear everything that was said at reception or on the staircase early in the morning to late at night. Closing the sliding door at the entrance to the corridor helped but it never remained shut for long. The other thing that I was disappointed with was that no food was served after breakfast. During the week, that was perfectly acceptable but on Friday night and Saturday when so many people celebrate the Jewish Sabbath I found it odd that guests were expected to find their own food. This is a kosher establishment so it left me confused. On this occasion it wasn’t a problem as I had dinner and lunch with my daughter but that might not always be an option if I was to stay again in the future. To summarise, I did enjoy my stay and I would definitely consider returning to the hotel, but I would not stay in that room again and I would ensure that I had somewhere to eat on the weekend.

This is my third time having the pleasure of staying at The White Villa. Although the staff was completely new since my last visit in 2017 the service, from the reception desk folks, to housekeeping and kitchen staff was as incredible as ever. It seemed like as soon as I’d hang up the phone with a request they were already at the door. During our stay this time there was a military operation going on. The staff reassured us as to where the safe room was and they’d knock on our door if going there was necessary. All of them were personable and very professional. I’ll look forward to my favorite central Tel Aviv hotel in the future!!!

Wonderful experience staying at the white Villa! The hotel is very well located, close to everything. The rooms are clean, neat, very good size and beautifully furnished. The staff is very nice, helpful and always eager to help. Breakfast is delicious and lots of things to choose from. I definitely recommend this hotel!!!

A charming hotel in an amazing location. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small , but I would expect that in Tel Aviv, and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and adequate. The complimentary water and soft drinks in the room were appreciated

The villa is very charming and the room was comfortable and very clean. Nadya and the other 2 receptionists were very kind and they all ensured we had everything we needed. The villa is centrally located with easy access to the coolest areas of Tel Aviv and not to far from the beach. I would gladly return next time I am in Tel Aviv.
