Hotel, très dépaysant et sympathique. Nous sommes allés pour faire un break, il n’y a pas d’électricité et du coup cela est très dépaysant. Le repas est très bon et il y a des petites activités. (Nourrir les éléphants , nager dans le courant, rafting bamboo) . Très sympa pour une parenthèse nature dans un voyage. Attention il n’y a pas de climatisation, du coup il fait un peu chaud, mais ça fait partie du charme de l’hôtel.

Pieknie i spokojne. Cudowny okazał się brak prądu i możliwość odpoczynku od urządzeń mobilnych! Pyszna kolacja i bardzo dobre śniadanie z pyszną kawą i, uwaga, w towarzystwie słonia 😀 polecam na wyciszenie na dwa trzy dni. Domki bardzo skromne natomiast drzemka na hamaku wspaniała. Możliwość masaży - niestety nie w poniedziałek kiedy byliśmy

Dit hotel is heel bijzonder, midden in de rivier in de jungle, zonder electra en internet, maar wel met olielampen en lampen op batterijen. Met een goed opgeladen powerbank kun je je smartphone prima gebruiken om te filmen. Het eten was goed, ook het ontbijt, en de bedden heerlijk zacht. Boven de bedden hing een klamboe tegen de muggen. Ik ben helemaal tot rust gekomen en heb dit verblijf als een sprookje ervaren. Ik vond het super!

Die Lage war toll. Man wurde mit einem Boot zum Hotel gefahren. In den Zimmern gibt es kein Strom. Man kann aber an einer Station Handy und Powerbanks aufladen. Es war total schön zum entspannen. Es gibt viele verschiedene Angebote wie Bambusfloos oder Kanu fahren. Kletterpark und vieles Mehr. Morgens kommt sogar ein Elefant aus einer Station zum Hotel. Es war ein richtiges Abenteuer

Absolutely a great experience, very friendly staff, very relaxing, great food and people, Would highly recommended going, went to the Mon village, feed a elephant, can swim in the river, current is strong but managed to swim okay, can’t wait to go again

Om er te komen is het heel leuk want het is 15 minuten met de longtailboot. De accommodatie op het water ziet er heel knus uit. Wij hadden inclusief diner en ontbijt. Hele goeie service, je komt niets te kort. In de ochtend komt een olifant in de rivier, die kun je dan voeren. De verlichting overal ziet er heel knus uit, overal olie lampen of lantaarns op batterij. Er is geen elektriciteit en geen airco. Je slaapkamer en badkamertje is stikdonker. Het was te warm om te slapen. Voor ons was dit afzien en dus geen 2e keer meer.

Une expérience inoubliable ! Un petit paradis ! Plongés dans la jungle au bord de la rivière ! Dans un cadre naturel avec un confort tout de même ! Tout est joliment décoré, les chambres sont entourées de plantes ! C’est une réelle expérience de vivre sans électricité à la tombé de la nuit ! Un conseil: pensez à prendre des frontales ! L’expérience de se baigner en mode rafting dans la rivière restera gravée à jamais ! Le matin, vous verrez même un éléphant du village venir prendre son petit déjeuné !

WOW!! We’re only 5 days into our 2 month trip and this might go down as the best experience we’ll have. We chose the 2 day 1 night package and don’t regret it at all. Learning about the POWs and building the railway was so eye opening but what really stood out to us was the staff at the hotel and learning about the Mon people. Bli is such an amazing tour guide and you can tell how much his people respect him and how close he is to everyone. The hotel employs all the mon people from the attached village and Bli teaches them English at night time. Swimming and the mon village tour is a must do!! And Pat was so warm and open and we wish the best for him in life!! Couldn’t recommend this experience enough. They now have a communal charging station so no need to worry about bringing power banks. Also wake up early to feed the village elephant breakfast (her name is Wande and she’s 55 year old gentle girl) such a worthwhile experience!!!

PICK UP. We found the service to be quick, attentive and on time a guide was there for all your questions and answer. BOAR RIDE. We were picked up by Thai longtail boat trip around 15/20 minutes journey if your lucky u will see birds and a water Buffalo grazing on the waterside.Awesome way of seeing things u can only see from the water.(BRILLIANT) ARRIVAL. Found check in simple and easy also given a quick talk about house rules and what was going to happen for the rest of the day. ROOM. Be prepared for a very basic room no power or anything yes it can get warm and uncomfortable but thats the whole experience (NOT FOR EVERYONE) but if u don’t try it well u r not living life.We stayed in room 121. MON DANCE. This is a Villagers/Staff doing this dance it has a similar to Bali etc but it’s there own way of expressing where ther they came from and how they became Mon People we both found this to be interesting/Beautiful and well just Brilliant (Welll done to all and thank you for sharing) BAR. As people have expressed drinks on the high side but you can also bring your own with u before your stay starts and drink at your room just ask for some ice as u will need it.Cocktails around 160 and beer 100 small bottles. Also water dispenser to fill your bottle up . STAFF. Not sure why people have to make cheap shots at other remember u r guests in there house we found that all staff were brilliant in there own special way - the young ladies and men serving us were brilliant always having a smile and just being very attentive. OVERALL. There r other p[laces to stay on the river with all the modern cons but give this place a chance and we both would say u wont be disappointed and if u r well there no pleasing everyone.

Be prepared for a great experience. We went in blind without much research. It was a 20min boat ride from the jetty to Jungle Rafts Resort. Upon arrival, we were given our room keys and briefed on meal times, jump into the river activity SOP, house rules etc No electricity at all, so don’t forget your power bank(s) and headlamps / torchlights. Each room came with a battery operated lamp and candle but it might not be sufficient for some. Each room has a double bed + single bed complete with mosquito netting, comes with an attached bedroom, has a back balcony as well as a front area complete with lazy chairs and hammock. Weak mobile coverage. If you really need to charge your devices, a short walk to the “charging tower” is possible. WiFi coverage available at lobby area only. Quite a number of activities can be done - day trips to nearby attractions, walk to the nearby Mon Village or just laze around. We purchased a package which comes with breakfast + dinner + 1 complimentary activity per day. Lunch is separate. Had a great time and would return if had the chance.

Que dire de Jungle raft. j'y suis allé pour la première fois en 1992, puis j'y suis retourné à de nombreuses reprises. Et c'est toujours cet émerveillement qui nous prend aux tripes. Déjà l'aventure commence avec les bateaux longue queue qui en 15 mn vous amènent aux pontons de jungle raft. Le fleuve Kwai est énorme, les berges regorgent de jungle qui semble étouffante. Et puis au détour d'un virage apparaissent les bungalows. Le personnel Birman avec sur le visage la poudre ocre vous Accueillent. c'est le début du bonheur. Ici pas d'électricité, pas de wifi, pas d'eau chaude, les bungalows sont des paillotes montés sur pilotis qui au gré du courant montent ou descendent. Le soir des lampes à pétrole vous éclairent donnant aux lieux encore plus de mystère. Le fleuve est à est à vos pieds, des hamacs cous tendent les bras, les repas sont locaux fabriqués sur place par des mamas expertes, du gout des saveurs, un régal. Les petits déjeuners sont largement suffisants. Un service de massage et le soir des Birmans vous proposent un spectacle de dans locales des plus intéressants. Des activités sont proposés radeau, baignade dans le fleuve etc. Au dessus du fleuve le village Mon vous attend, la covid à fait du mal et vous trouverez seulement deux ou trois boutiques tenus par les habitantes et qui vous proposent des articles locaux. Allez y c'est leur seul moyen d'existence. Une éléphante vous tend la trompe pour que vous lui donnez des bananes que vous aurez achetés à vil prix auprès d'une charmante Birmane que je connais depuis 20 ans. Au petit déjeuner Wendy descend du village attend vos caresses et surtout vos pastèques qu'elle dévore goulument. Un retour aux sources, de quoi se passer pour quelques heures ou plus du calme, de la tranquillité, de zénitude. Vous oublierez vos téléphones, vos soucis, laissez vous porter par le calme du fleuve kweeee (Et oui Kwai on le prononce KWEEE).

This was an incredible experience. There is a boat that takes you up the river (past swimming lizards, monkeys, and bat caves), to floating cabins, with dinner and breakfast provided. So unique! I enjoyed jumping off the one end and floating down to the other end of the cabins. No mosquitos! Each room has a hammock outside. Fall asleep to the sound of flowing water.
