Mid-Century Modern Cottage in Downtown Tipp City

A Hidden Gem Our party of six (partner plus extended family) booked this property both because it was in the path of totality of the eclipse and because of its proximity to the railroad tracks. (My partner is a railfan who has his own YouTube channel.) None of us were disappointed. The property is an early 20th Century bungalow that has been beautifully restored to its original glory (and then some!). The decorator's taste is absolutely divine, with a wonderful blend of mid-century bright colors and pastels. In addition, the living room and downstairs sitting can be easily turned into sleeping accommodations for additional guests in your party. It's in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with friendly residents, plus a wonderful cat named Marcie who lives right next door. The house and yard are immaculately maintained, and there were even fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived. I would particularly recommend this location for railfans. In addition to the tracks being within easy walking distance (even for my partner), good shots of trains can be obtained from the large, unobstructed windows in the sitting room, in case of inclement weather. Only two minor beefs: The front door lock can be a little fussy, and the only bathroom is located downstairs. Four stars out of four.

Great Stay! We had a great stay at this beautiful little cottage! Samantha was great with quick communication and with our check in process. She checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be returning to enjoy tipp city to its fullest:)

Tipp City retreat Kitchy vibe. New appliances. Very cool. Felt very comfortable. Trains running fairly often nearby, but got used to them really quickly.

It was a home away from my home. Had all the amenities and very clean.

Excellent Property Every little detail was thought of. We enjoyed the train. We grew up living near a train track. It was nostalgic for us. But if the train bothers you simply download a sound machine on your phone for night time. We would stay here again if in the area. House was very clean and well laid out.
