Riad Janoub

The very best Riad in Morocco. Amazing place. Feels like home, but then a luxury version of home. Stayed in many places over the years but this is by far my favourite. Super comfortable dreamy rooms with an amazing pool area. Super breakfast (really royal). Super friendly staff, from the cleaning ladies to the cooking ladies to the owners Priya and Aby and their daughters. Celebrated new years here and that was amazing (recommend!). There's bikes to use for free which makes transportation in the city easy. We stayed here once a night in November and decided to come back in December/januari for 7 nights but booked 2 extra to make it 9 nights. You can go anywhere from here to the mountains, the beaches - aby will even offer to show you some. They will arrange anything you want. Very special thanks to Saïd who was the most welcoming host imaginable. He learned my girlfriend a lot of Berber words and was always in for a good conversation without being forward himself. Super service mentality. We wish you all the best in everything! See you in december for another new years (or who knows maybe sooner!).

What a find in Tiznit. Beautiful and serene setting perfectly manicured. Room had all that one would need, especially enjoyed having a kettle for a morning coffee. I do wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the hospitality and room. Breakfast will keep you full till dinner! Highly recommended for those in the area looking for extraordinary hospitality, comfort, and authenticity.

We were traveling in Western Sahara and on the way back from Dakhla to Agadir we stopped in Riad Janoub. It was exactly what we needed after an exhausting but beautiful road trip. The Riad is a hidden gem in the area where it's not easy to find a comfortable and elegant place. It wrapped up our experience of Morocco perfectly. We've traveled all around the world and as an architect and an artist we are sensitive about the place. The owner is a great host and hospitality professional, giving you all the comfort, cleanness, ergonomic beds, big tasty breakfast - a fusion of continental and authentic local cuisine; all the luxury for a very reasonable price. Spending time there was for sure like living an experience of Arabic tales, where the atmosphere, environment and their people discreetly fulfill all your senses. This was by far the highlight of our journey! The moment we have entered the Riad we were greeted by the owner/manager of the accommodation. He personally walked us through the hotel and showed us the points of interest. I have bad back, and I felt comfortable to ask him if the beds are soft (IMPORTANT: In Morocco beds are very stiff), and he in the moment upgraded us to a room with anatomical mattress. Breakfast was great! I am gluten free (not by choice, and yes I have a lot of demands, again not by choice) and owner went above and beyond so I can enjoy the local cuisine. A lot of unique features like, traditional sitting area, self-service "I trust you" minibar, designated smoking area, 4 or 5 Internet routers so every place is covered and so many other things that I could write. I mean the place is so clean that owner shows you the kitchen, so you know where they make your food. How not to appreciate that!? Moroccan people are polite by nature, but what I also noticed is that the staff in this hotel had been trained. From the way they serve the food to the way they talk with travelers. To be honest, there was no difference from this staff to high 5 star European hotels. From everything written, I guess you can tell I am impressed. My girlfriend and I feel so fortunate to have stayed in the accommodation and from my heart I recommend it! Thank You Mr. Abi and great Riad Janoub staff!

Riad Janoub Tiznit The riad is located just inside the Medina of Tiznit, so was very easy to find which was good. The entire riad is beautifully appointed, every detail was thought of. Rooms very clean, perhaps the most comfortable bed so far in Morocco. Loved the rain shower as well. The owners were super helpful, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast every day was delicious and great selection. Originally was only supposed to stay 1 night but this riad was so good, that we stayed 3 nights and travelled to various areas like Tafraoute, Aglou, Mirleft and Sidi Ifni, then returned to Tiznit. Highly recommend Riad Janoub as a base for visiting the southern region.

Un très joli riad situé en plein centre historique de la ville de Tiznit, sur les photos il paraît parfait, quand nous sommes arrivés surplace, l entrée du Riad est une toute petite porte qui fait moins d'1m60, et les voitures reste dehors sur la voie publique, garé contre un mur, apparemment il y a des caméras pour les surveiller. Le personnel est au petit soin des clients rien à dire à niveau là, Par contre, la qualité de prestation n'est pas forcément à la hauteur de l images, Je vais résumer juste quelques éléments qui peuvent être résolu si le gérant souhaite améliorer son riad Primo le réglage de l eau chaude dans les douche est catastrophique, soit l eau est glassé ou brûlante, note 2/10 Le gérant s'est moqué de nous, on nous proposant un tarif super intéressant sur le 2ème jours, premier jour 150€ et tarif réduits 145€, ça s'appelle arnaque des touristes, Pour finir je ne vais pas être négatif ça reste un bon riad, mais ça ne vaut pas le prix payé, vous pourrais trouvé beaucoup mieux ou équivalent pour 2 à 3 fois moins cher.

Avevamo prenotato per una notte, ci siamo fermati tre! Tutto è meraviglioso, curato, accogliente! Il proprietario è estremamente gentile e disponibile, la struttura è un gioiello, la colazione pazzesca! Abbiamo ricevuto ottimi consigli per visitare la zona, e dopo le nostre vite ci siamo rilassati in piscina con la nostra bimba di un anno e mezzo. Consigliamo e torneremo!!!
