Nestled in the heart of Torrey, Utah just 5 minutes from spectacular Capitol Reef National Park, with many restaurants and hiking/biking trails right out the front door, this is the place to stay while exploring the mountains and desert nearby. There is excellent internet and cell coverage perfect for working remotely. You'll love this spacious apartment! It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your favorite meals with views right from the large windows. There are two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds in each. The bathroom has an illuminated mirror, sink and vanity area and a shower/tub combo. It is fully stocked with everything you might need while away from home. The living room/dining area has two large, comfy recliners and a large couch to relax and watch the flatscreen TV. The private laundry room is fully stocked and supplied with everything you might need. When you arrive, you will go up the front stairs to your private entrance on the east side of the building, Door #4. There is a keyless contactless entry system. We will supply you with the entry code after booking and before your check-in date. The backdoor opens onto a large deck and an expansive view of Velvet Ridge Mesa and steps leading down to a spacious 3/4 acre, fully fenced backyard. There is ample free parking. I have hosted nightly rentals homes since 2016 and I recently bought this space- May 2021. During this new management transition I will be working out all the hiccups and getting to know the property. It is a work in progress and my aim is to make your travels and your stay as relaxing and convenient as possible. The house has 4 apartments in it. Three of them are connected via sealed entrances that can be opened for large groups. There will be other people sharing the building during your stay, so expect to share walls, parking, porches, and the backyard. I live close by and I am available via messaging/phone all the time and you can contact or message me with any questions or needs. I love meeting new people and hearing about your travels. Other things to note THERE IS NO GROCERY STORE IN TORREY. The nearest shopping is in Loa, Utah- 17 miles away. Come prepared with groceries or contact Danielle and arrange to have groceries delivered in advance for a nominal fee Weather: Torrey is located at 6,800 ft above sea level, so we thankfully don’t get the intense heat that other desert towns experience. Summertime temperatures range from the mid 80's to low 90's during the day and mid 50's to mid 60's at night. Winter high temps are mostly in the mid 30’s to lower 50’s with a few days in the 20’s. Snow doesn't stay long in Torrey but there is plenty of it up on nearby Boulder Mountain. Thank you for your interest in Home in the Heart of Utah. Great location We were spending two days exploring Capitol Reef National Park, and this apartment offered a very convenient location only 10 minutes from the entrance. It’s also right by some good cafes within walking distance. The apartment was pretty spacious and filled with comfortable furnishings.

Wonderful Everything was great. The location perfect. Close to restaurants and to National Parks - especially Capitol Reef. Amenities were great too.

Terrible! Check in was 3:00. We arrived at 3:35. Cleaning lady was still there. Food all over back door, counters were dirty. Living room window did not have a shade and the screen on the window was torn. The stairs were rickety, definitely needed painting. The photo of the outside was not even close to accurate. Felt more like I was in the gutter than in an Airbnb. Won’t ever stay again.

Hiking Utah We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for the 4 adults and sll are hiking gear. Beds were comfortable and well stocked. Coffee was great!

Nice lodging for hiking at Capitol Reef Couple amenities could be improved - but property manager was helpful and responsive. Close to several restaurants. Nice location to access Capitol Reef. Comfy beds.

You'll love this spacious apartment! It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your favorite meals with views right from the large windows.
There are two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds in each. The bathroom has an illuminated mirror, sink and vanity area and a shower/tub combo. It is fully stocked with everything you might need while away from home.
The living room/dining area has two large, comfy recliners and a large couch to relax and watch the flatscreen TV. The private laundry room is fully stocked and supplied with everything you might need.
When you arrive, you will go up the front stairs to your private entrance on the east side of the building, Door #4. There is a keyless contactless entry system. We will supply you with the entry code after booking and before your check-in date. The backdoor opens onto a large deck and an expansive view of Velvet Ridge Mesa and steps leading down to a spacious 3/4 acre, fully fenced backyard. There is ample free parking.
