White clouds hang like dollops of meringue in the Carolina blue sky. To the east you will see Pilot Mountain ('Mt. Pilot' as it was referred to on the famous Andy Griffith TV show). And on a clear day, you can see the tall buildings in downtown Winston Salem, NC, over 50 miles away! And at night ... WOW!...the twinkling night lights in the valley are breathtaking and soooo romantic! Natural beauty of the magnitude is so inspiring and a true feast for the senses...it nourishes the soul.
