Villa Arany

We’ve just returned from a fabulous vacation on the mid-Dalmatian Coast, having used Villa Arany as our base of operations for our two-week vacation in Croatia. I can only say, this was an experience that has created countless memories for our extended family. We enjoyed three beautiful, clean, modern, well-equipped apartments situated within the complex that is Villa Arany. Each had AC, wi-fi, well equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms and TV’s and one had a washer and dryer, with another available as well. There is also an outdoor kitchen complete with an open fireplace that allowed my son to make a traditional “peka” dinner utilizing the facilities available. The location was ideal with the Copacabana Beach a short walk away, as well as a water taxi to the historic town of Trogir. There were also many great restaurants a short walk away for those nights when we chose to eat out, although the kitchens allowed “dining in” if desired. Also within walking distance is a grocery store and a great bakery for those desirous of some wonderful Croatian bakery delights. The location allowed easy access to attractions to the north and west such as Skradin, Sibenik, Primosten and Krka Falls NP and south and east to Split, Dubrovnik, and the lovely islands of Korcula, Brac, Hvar and Vis. But perhaps best of all was our host, Adrienn, who was fantastic and eager to help make this a vacation to remember for all. I can honestly say this was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had as a family, and I highly recommend Villa Arany to anyone interested in enjoying the many treasures that make up the mid-Dalmatian Coast.
