Hll Hotel Lungolago Lecco-Como Lake

Located by the main road. Noise from the cars, windows not soundproof at all. Broken lights, broken mirror, dusty floor, dirty walls, loud air-conditioning, falling ceilings, ants in the living room and the obnoxious service at the check-in desk, broken wine glasses. On the last day, broken lift. Just in time for the with the The flat looked as if sb had just left it in a hurry. The photos on Booking did not match the reality. The receptionist was well aware of it. Didn't seem to care.

Arriving at the Lecco railway station with one wheeled suitcase and a daypack, google maps helped me find this hotel within about a 10-12 minute walk. Not too difficult to find. The hotel is at one end of the town and is just across a road from Lake Como. There is a nice pathway along the side of the lake. Check-in and out were simple. No issues. The room (King with balcony) was a good size, the bed was comfortable, the internet wifi worked fine, there was a safety deposit box in the room as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Water was hot, shower very small......but for an average sized bloke, it was fine. Only thing I would have liked that wasn't in the room....kettle and tea/coffee. Not sure of the air-conditioning was good or not as I had no need for it whilst there as the weather had got cooler.....but there certainly was an air-conditioner in the room. There was also a TV but I never switched on and have no idea what channels are available. Huge balcony with two chairs and a table. Breakfast was fairly simple continental style. No issues. Basically as described on the hotel's website. Nothing fancy or elaborate but it was filling enough. The hotel has a restaurant which does lunch and dinner, but I never ate at it. There is also an Indian restaurant next door and beside it.....a pizza takeway, which is very cheap and does great pizza! Within a five to 6 minute walk there is also a great Irish pub with 17 draught beers and ciders on tap.....and which has very friendly staff. So, although the hotel is more on the outskirts of town, it's only a very short walk to get into the middle of town. The hotel advertises itself as a 3 star hotel and I think that's an appropriate rating.

…ho passato tre notti in questo Hotel “Lungolago” a Lecco!!…durante il mio soggiorno per il trekking sul “Sentiero del Viandante “!!…la struttura si trova veramente in una posizione fantastica!!…non mi è piaciuta la moquette in camera…e che in bagno mancavano il servizio toilette!!…saponetta ecc!!…ma in compenso la signora era sempre sorridente e gentile!!…compresi i ragazzi che lavorano in sala!!…molto carina Chiara!!…la colazione con vasto assortimento di dolce e di salato!!…non mancava nulla!!…e che dire!!…tutto sommato ci tornerei sicuramente!!…
