Waadhee Inn Vashafaru

Waadhee Inn on the island of Vaashafaru is a perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment on a peaceful, still authentic Maldivian island. The accommodation is situated right by a beautiful sandy beach, where you can take a stroll to a magnificent sandbank. Bikini Beach is 5 minutes away and there are sunbeds in the shade of a wooden/straw canopy provided for the Waadhee Inn guests. We stayed for 9 nights. The booking process through the owner went smoothly. Ghaalib was also extremely friendly and helpful in arranging the transfers upon arrival and departure, including the return flights (with magnificent views) to and from Male airport and then speedboat rides from/to Haanimadhoo. He also organized boat excursions based on our preferences. A particular highlight was swimming with a curious and playful manta. Chef Munna fully accommodated our preferences, the food was delicious. We also enjoyed the cold drinks—fresh passion fruit juice and coconuts—which we sipped while relaxing right by the beach in front of our accommodation. Perfect location! Very friendly and supportive staff. A true Maldivian gem. Can't wait to return!
