Biserna Dolina Uvac

Really great find in the Uvac region. On a hill overlooking the river. You can access a couple of walking trails from the garden of the property. Parking was available. The road to the accommodation is gravel and fine for any type of car. The owner was very friendly and has a friend who speaks English very well, so communication isn't a problem. They can prepare homecooked dinner and breakfast for you for an extra charge of €5 per person. All payments must be made in cash. Our room was an ok size, but had a nice balcony overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable. Our bathroom was huge, but be aware that the floor will get wet when you shower. Two friendly dogs at the property that like to go on walks with guests and there's a short walk to a nearby old suspension bridge over the river. You can also hike to the viewpoint over the river, or it is a short drive on a paved road to a car park area and then a walk on the hillside. You can also reach a viewpoint on the opposite side of the lake, which is a long walk, or a 45 minute drive.
