Hotel Thermen Bussloo - Apeldoorn

A full spa day was simply perfect! Our second visit here about 10 years after the first, we came back this time from UK. LOVED IT! The spa outshines any spa we have visited in the UK. After a relaxing day we had fantastic food for an amazing price added to our hotel stay. Hotel rooms are great with modern bathrooms, great shower gel and cozy beds. Will be back again!

Stayed 27/08/22. The bathroom floor was covered in body hair from the previous occupant. All surfaces covered in dust. and the Coffee machine didn't work. At least the bed was comfortable . Overall a horrible experience

Lovely clean hotel rooms , coffee machine available, the restaurant was nice and I loved the food but one of our party was celiac and her choices were limited . It would have been useful if they were not so secretive about their secret menu. The waiters was lovely. Loved the spa. But if a spa Disneyland but it was really perfect had a fun weekend away with health benefits.

I booked a reservation through their website for a Deluxe Room with Spa Access. This was an expensive room, considering it did not include breakfast, a robe, a towel, etc. I booked the reservation directly through the hotel's website, with an understanding that it can be canceled up to 48 hours prior to arrival. I tried to cancel over a month in advance, and the hotel refused. The hotel falsely claimed that I booked through *********** and they did not have the authority to cancel this reservation. I knew this was false, but to entertain this idea, I contacted *********** and they claimed that they did not have a reservation under my name for Thermen Bussloo. When I explained this to Thermen Bussloo's management, they did not believe me and told me that they could not cancel my reservation. I retraced my booking steps, and noticed that a company called Hoteliers handles the hotel's reservations. Hoteliers confirmed that I booked directly through Thermen Bussloo's website. Still, Thermen Bussloo claimed that that they did not have the authority to cancel my reservation. After dozens of emails, Hoteliers contacted Thermen Bussloo and explained that it was their prerogative to cancel the reservation. Only after this was done, the hotel agreed to cancel. I expect much better service from a four star hotel and do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel (too expensive, not a good bang for your euro, and rude management).

What a beautiful place, like paradise. Our whole experience was perfect. Our room was nice and beds were comfortable. All the spa facilities are amazing and with eye to detail. Also the spa ceremonies, you can attend are special and surprising. We were also surprised of the high standard of the restaurant. The service was excellent, Remco our waiter was outstanding, very professional and welcoming. The creations of the kitchen were mouth watering. Very delicious and surprising. Breakfast was also a great start in the day, great choices and friendly staff. All in all a perfect get away where our expectations were exceeded.

Fabulous resort, the float pool is like the inside of a volcano, incredible ambiance and relaxing experience, Staff were very helpful with translations to English. No signage was in English, which is understandable since The Netherlands is not England. Food was very good, emphasis on fish dishes which I really enjoyed. Would love to go again.

Bussloo was de eerste locatie van Thermen en dat is nu te merken. Het meubilair in het restaurant en buiten is kapot of ziet er aftands uit. Het toezicht in het complex is weg. Veel stellen die zich geroepen voelen om breeduit aan elkaar te zitten in de baden. Stilte wordt niet gerespecteerd. Erg jammer want de sauna’s zijn goed. We gaan voortaan naar Thermen Soesterberg of de Veluwse Bron.

Samen met mijn vriendin ben ik afgelopen vrijdag en zaterdag bij jullie geweest voor zeker de 10e keer. Het was wederom super fijn en alles prima verzorgd. Vriendelijk ontvangen in het hotel waar je het bandje ontvangt voor je locker bij de sauna waar je badhanddoek en badjas klaar ligt. De 2e dag ontvang je een schone badjas en de mogelijkheid is er om een service pas te kopen zodat je zelfs op de dag in de sauna nog je badhanddoek kan inwisselen. In het restaurant is de bediening super, vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het eten is gevarieerd en super lekker. Bij mooi weer kun je ook buiten op het terras eten.Zeer veel verschillende sauna’s met verschillende temperaturen. Verschillende op- gietingen en andere rituelen zoals klankschalen in de Kelo sauna en in de yurt een klankschalen meditatie. Heerlijke tuin met bedjes Prima hotelkamer, minibar aanwezig Ruime badkamer met heerlijke ruikende zeepjes, regendouche . Het toilet is apart. Waterkoker en koffiezetapparaat aanwezig en een heerlijk bed. Kortom een aanrader.

De gelegenheid was dat ik eind vorig jaar 60 was geworden en mijn vrouw mij veraste met een sauna dag inclusief lunch en diner a la carte. Wij waren al een tijdje niet geweest en we hebben samen een top dag gehad. Waar wij een paar jaar geleden nog €160,- kwijt waren was het nu €240,-. Als je voor een kopje thee( let wel dat is gekookt water ) €5,50 betaald en voor een toetje €12,- en je echt een heeeeel klein stukje krijgt dan ben ik het een beetje kwijt. En natuurlijk weet ik dat de prijzen omhoog gegaan zijn maar dit is redelijk extreem. De bediening in het restaurant was top, ik weet helaas haar naam niet maar deze dame had echt plezier in haar werk . Het lukt mij geen één keer om mijn bandje aan te bieden voordat zij het al had gevraagd. 😂
