Hotel Auberge d'Alle

What went well: A charming guesthouse at the foothill of Ardennes, with the view over the Semois river, this hotel was our choice primarily due to its location close to hiking trail in the surrounding hills. The hotel features free parking on the adjacent territory. The building itself is not that large, so there was no feeling of overcrowding. The rooms were nice, however, there are some age-related issues. Good quality of housekeeping, the room was sparkling clean. Small bottles of drinking water were refreshed daily. Soft beds, we slept like babies. The breakfast was good and enough to set one for the day (albeit I would consider swapping hard-boiled eggs for eggs made to order). The dinner was rather nice, with decent choice of wines and courses. I would consider it a good-value dinner by the local standards. Finally, the owner personally meets guests and she is genuinely very passionate about her hotel and restaurant - great thing, which is rare nowadays. What didn't go well: The bathroom in the room didn't have a working exhaust, and it was a bit challenging around the shower, as the configuration was not ideal for embarking/disembarking. Soundproof was not exactly the strongest side of this hotel (albeit given it was a historic building, I do understand this is part of its character). WIFI wasn't working (albeit there was an amplifier point right by the door).

From the moment we entered, we were enthralled. This quaint hotel is absolutely perfect. The gardens that surround it make the place peaceful and serene. The staff was warm and welcoming and even went so far as to make other arrangements at the last minute. We absolutely loved our stay here and would do it again.

we had an excelent stay at Auberge d'Alle enjoying the nice food, beatiful surroundings and the perfect host.

Although visiting Bouillon , we chose to stay in this place in Alle sur Semois , as it looked so nice. Surrounded by nature and a river. It is quite special. The hostess is quite a character and perhaps would do well on stage.😀 The only downside for me was that the bed was too soft for my bad back. Not the hotels fault, but it dampens the experience.

Large choix, excellents plats, bon vin .... bon accueil et avec un service très sympathique / Wide choice, excellent dishes, good wine..... warm welcome and with a very friendly service / Ruime keus, uitstekende gerechten, goede wijn.... hartelijke ontvangst en met een zeer sympathieke bediening

Beetje gedateerd hotel. Zeer lieve gastvrije eigenares Huisdiervriendelijk. Onze hond werd prima onthaald en mocht mee naar het restaurant. Lekker valentijnsmenu. Het ontbijt daarentegen was heel karig. De kamer onder het dak was ruim maar de badkamer super klein. Tot onze spijt geen WiFi op de kamer.

Hôtel 3* mais en vaut 4 facilement. Accueil chaleureux, sympathique et très poli, service impeccable, repas excellent (proposition de resservir le client pour le plat principal). Hôtel cosy, déco pleine de chaleur et avec goût, bougies, bar charmant, salle de restaurant avec feu de cheminée, personnel au petit soin pour les clients, chambres très confortables. Parking aisé. A recommander

Net en verzorgd hotel. Grote parking. Alle modern comfort. Nette en verzorgde kamers en badkamer. Zeer professionele en smakelijke keuken. Grote menukeuze. Aanmoedigend, zeer vriendelijk en uitermate dienst verlenend personeel. Wij hadden een super verblijf in halfpension met 10 personen

Joli hôtel.. grande chambre grande salle de bain bonne literie. Tout très propre. Bon accueil personnel très sympa. Super souper du soir beaucoup de choix..parfois supplément mais ça va et on le sait c'est inscrit...boissons à un prix un peu élevé. Bon petit déjeuner tout ce qu'il faut..
