Must be able to walk up stairs to get into home. With easy access to: Shepherdstown / Shepherd University - 8 minute drive, 1 hour, 15 minute walk (all on the towpath and sidewalk), 20 minute bike ride Harpers Ferry - 30 minute drive, 1 hour bike ride on the towpath Antietam Battlefield - 9 minute drive Charles Town - 25 minute drive Washington DC - 1 hour, 45 minute drive, 6-7 hour bike ride (for the truly adventurous) Baltimore - 1 hour, 30 minute drive IAD Airport- 1 hour, 15 minute drive Noted Amenities: there is an electric grill on the patio that guests are welcome to use. Our home comes with a paddle board and three tubes that you can use on the river. You can access the Potomac through the C&O or head down to the Antietam Creek water access just down the road. We also provide two life jackets for your safety. *Home comes with three bikes that guests can use.
