DC Modern Apartment In DC Close To Metro

Felt mislead but not a bad place The check in process went well and great communication with host. The basement stairwells both were pretty dingy, dark, musty and wet. When booking was made it stared 2 bedrooms but I suppose it could’ve been on me that in the fine print it states that it was pull out futon not a separate two bedroom. Pictures were misleading. I have noticed since our booking and reaching out to the property manager -the listing was updated two bedroom second with a disclaimer being it is in the living room. I paid 15 extra day for parking but the information within the apartment says it should’ve been 10 for the spot. The street parking looks to be pretty confusing so overall I’m glad that I paid it, but I was overcharged according to the information presented. Neighborhood was nice, but not having two bedrooms, put a real damper on our trip so much so that we left early. There were some positives. The shower was very nice and they did leave the MetroCard so we didn’t have to buy them. It is a safe area. Overall I’d recommend, but for us it just didn’t work.

Very Nice Cute basement apartment. Near the green metro (about 3 blocks) which was very convenient. Easy access to the Mall & DC sites. Liked the washer/dryer. The only negative was it was so dark when we arrived. If the owners could leave an outside light on for guests, that would have been very helpful.
