Motel 6 Wethersfield, CT - Hartford

I lost money by reserving a room here. No refund given. Booked a nonsmoking room and they only had a smelly smoking room available. My wife didn’t feel safe, there were beds outside of the motel laying on the ground, trash. ********** was not helpful in trying to give us a refund.

Scary place For the price I expected the room to be outdated and maybe some noise. This was my worst overnight stay experience. There were sketchy people hanging out all around the parking lot and standing in the doors to their rooms smoking. My room had cigarette burns in the bedding, floors and bathroom. There was a loud party going on in the room next door all night. I couldn’t even shower before I left because the room didn’t have any toiletries. When I told the woman at the front desk that I was leaving and not completing my staying she asked if I wanted to change rooms. No apology was offered. This place is a dump. Do not stay here.

Good Morning - I stayed at the Motel 6 in Wethersfield, CT last night. It was not a pleasant experience. I had read the reviews, and knew I wasn't staying at a luxury hotel, but I did expect bare minimum to be met. Upon arriving in my room, I turned on the TV only to discover the coaxial cable had been ripped from the television. I contacted the front desk, and they did send maintenance to replace the cable. Great job there! Prior to their arrival, however, I realized I was not in the room I reserved. I had booked a room with a queen size bed, a refrigerator, and a microwave. I had a full-size bed, and neither appliance. I again called the front desk. I was hung up on. Attempting to contact corporate, I called the number I'd found only to be connected to the front desk. Upon stating what room I was calling from, I was told they were aware of the cable issue but were busy. I cut in to say I'd been given the wrong room - that I'd booked the above-described room.
