Number 6

Absolutely one of the best B+B that we have stayed in ,Gill and Jackson were the best of hosts , the rooms were beautifully clean and so nicely decorated, bed was super comfy and the shower was spot on .Breakfast choice was great and freshly cooked to order and didn’t disappoint. Will always book again when we get back to Whitby in the not too distant future . Tea and scones on arrival were great too .

The room that we stopped in was the cleanest I have been in, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The host gill and her husband were very welcoming and just couldn’t do enough for you, definitely go back couldn’t fault it in anyway.

Number 6 is simply wonderful. We stayed in the room (sorry forgot its name) with the rolltop bath which was fab. The room (and the rest of the B&B)was very clean and spot on with style and presentation. The breakfast was amazing (we had the full English and the kippers) Our hosts Gill & Jackson were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I seriously recommend taking up the offer of the Tea and scone on arrival !! For our next visit to Whitby I we wont be wasting time looking for anywhere else as this place has simply nailed it !! Very highly recommended

Stay number 3 after an almost 3 year break from Whitby and delighted to report that Number 6 is just as good as the previous 2 visits. Gill and Jackson really do make your stay even more enjoyable whether it be with a homemade scone when you arrive, homemade biscuits in your room or just a friendly chat at breakfast they are just lovely couple. The establishment itself is beautiful and spotless. I always look forward to breakfasts at Number 6 and this visit was no exception. Full English was superb, fried eggs on toast delicious and on this occasion I tried the halloumi and tomatoes on brioche which was so tasty. All that is left to say is if you intend to visit Whitby for a couple of days or more then I cannot stress enough how much more you would enjoy your visit if you stay at Number 6.

Just had a fantastic 2 night break at number 6 . Gill and Jackson are wonderful hosts . They really have ticked every box for me . This felt like a high end hotel experience with the personal touch of a B&B. Breakfast choices were great ...Wish we had been there longer to sample them all. We stayed in the smaller skylight room but it is super comfy and has everything you could need. Everywhere is spotless ...Lovely soft white towels...white cotton bedding which I love ...gorgeous toiletries ...water and fresh milk in the fridge ...filter coffee ...home made biscuits ..the list just goes on . We were served warm scones and tea on arrival which is a lovely touch. They really have thought of everything that makes a stay one you want to return to . It was a pleasure to be a guest in their lovely home . Don't hesitate to book you won't be disappointed .

Fabulous bed and breakfast great location for Whitby town . lovely hosts spacious clean room. Perfect breakfast one of the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in.Hope to stay again many thanks for making our stay exceptional.
