Langley Hall

This establishment has got one thing going for it : its splendid architecture. I had seen some very good reviews on Tripadvisor but it was not for us for a number of reasons. I was surprised to find that this “estate” was on a major busy route. I obviously had not checked a map carefully to see the actual location. I was equally disappointed to find out that the room would not be serviced and that breakfast was only available for parties of 4 or more. If none of these issues matter then it is certainly different from traditional guest houses.

A wonderful historic home, comfortable room, great bed and amazing hospitality by its owners. Lovely and quiet out of town but still close to attractions and places to eat. A memorable stay and would highly recommend.

Just driving through the gates up to reception you can see there is so much history in this place. Being met by one of the hosts, Simone, she showed us around and explained the history ( so few of these places have been maintained ). We were staying in the Langley Suite which was very large, with a modern ensuite and everything provided - we could even walk across the hallway to the library and enjoy the comforts as well. Breakfast was provided in the dining room ( next to the lounge ) and there we met our other host, Thomas, who provided our cooked breakfast to go with all the other provisions provided. An excellent host, as was the property, and the position being only a few kms out of Bendigo CBD made it perfect for any outings. Totally enjoyed our stay and we hope your future aspirations come to fruition.

Absolutely lovely! Had a wonderful mother daughter weekend and the property was the perfect choice. Amazing antiques and artworks, so much to see and appreciate. The rooms were beautifully appointed with everything you could want. Lovely breakfast in such a beautiful dining room. Hosts were lovely and with only 6 rooms, it was very quiet. Lovely sitting rooms to enjoy a quiet drink and sunset views. Highly recommend, this property is very special! Thankyou Thomas and Simone

Fabulous place to stay. The interior is divine and watching the sun through the stained glass while relaxing in the drawing room is fabulous. Our room, Bebe suite, was large and very comfortable. There are nice touches such as a jug of fresh milk in the mini bar for your tea. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights in the Langley suite which had access to the upstairs verandah. Too cold to sit here during our stay but I can imagine it would be lovely to have a beverage ( fitting the time of day) out there when warm. All the furnishings were complementary of the era and very well kept. Fabulous hosts Thomas & Simone. Wonderful breakfast and complimentary port in the lounge. A great stay!,

Just loved it! Wonderful service, wonderful room, delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean, totally charming. The complimentary port wine available to guests in the lounge / sitting area was a fantastic way to relax after a busy day, enjoying the company of other guests.

What a beautiful house! Federation style at it’s finest. We had the Langley suite which opens directly onto the upstairs verandah - all rooms looked lovely though. Simone kindly rearranged our booking which I had stupidly made for the wrong week - much appreciated. A short drive from the town centre, lots of parking. Wonderful breakfast.

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful B&B, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The owners Thomas and Simone are terrific hosts and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was great. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and styled in keeping with the residence- our bathroom even had a genuine steal clawfoot bath. Will not disappoint the ambiance of the building captivates you.
