PLEASE please take the time to read “Resort”: We were lied to. The photos on their site are fake. Let me explain. This is not a resort. This is an apartment complex/Airbnb that is located with the locals. When we arrived we were greeted by Fabi, Jasmine and the wild 12 dogs roaming the resort. Fabi is extremely rude and condescending. Not only was her attitude to foreigners snappy but Jasmine refused to help us with our bags to the rooms. Once we entered the rooms “, it was dusty and smelled like mold. I asked about the smell, they only opened the windows to allot it to air out. At this moment we tried to get a hotel elsewhere but unfortunately everywhere on this tiny island was booked up. The WIFI never worked fully. During the day it worked okay, at night Fabi turns off the wifi completely. We paid for this horrible wifi service My sheets had period stains on it from prior travelers. One of the AC units had mold and mildew inside creating a horrific smell in one of my friends rooms. She had to bunk with me, so she does not get sick. There’s a washer and no dryer. There were no complimentary items, not even a hair blow dryer, or soap. I had to walk downstairs and ask for one. There is an ironing board. I added a photo. It's run down and ripped. There’s a kitchen with no pots and pans. We were told to buy them. The forks and spoon had prior travelers food stains and water stains on it. The TV works but only if you have Netflix. We also paid separately for Netflix, cable and wifi. Fabi refused to give us the log in. The bathroom was disgusting. Hair everywhere, mold spots, rust and dirt in the shower head. Dead bugs in the corners of the showers. There are hangers in the closet… random hangers from people’s houses. The water in the kitchen is extremely cold, no hot water. The shower head is difficult to work, it throws extreme skin burning hot water and barely any cold water. The garbage cans are from the 99cent store and were dirty upon arrival. The couch is cheap and very hard to sit on. One of my friends actually hurt her tailbone from sitting on the couch. There are dead bugs in the corner of every room once we entered. The nightstands had extreme dust on it as if it’s never been wiped down.There was no bar, no clean pool, no activities, no lounge area, nothing. Did I mention there are random men roaming at night watching you? 5 men to be exact. We were kissed at and catcalled. By the way on our 4th night, a random man walked passed my window and said “I will make you pop pop pop”. It scared me and I was extremely frightened. This place is unsafe for women. There is no room service, no cleaning services, no one even comes by to pick up the g
