Bitzaro Grande Hotel & Suites

We’re just leaving after a lovely 10 night stay at the Bitzaro Hotel. The hotel staff are all wonderfully welcoming and friendly. They can’t do enough for guests. The room we found lovely with neutral earthy tones. The shower pressure could be a little better but nothing that bothered us too much. Air conditioning was good as it was incredibly hot out here, 45 degrees some days. The buffet whilst not very extensive was decent for an all inclusive with more traditional Greek dishes. It’s definitely not like some all inclusives I’ve stayed in with chicken nuggets and chips type of dishes. We found the food to be of good quality and always topped up. We particularly enjoyed the Greek desserts. On our first few days the hotel was probably running at maximum capacity so there was a wait for the drinks at the snack bar by the pool. However from about 2/3 days in this calmed down and getting a drink was fairly quick. Whilst the cocktails list isn’t massive lots of people seemed to enjoy the sex on the beach. We aren’t big drinkers so it was adequate for us. If you want a sunbed on the front row by the pool you do have to be up and down with your towels by 8am ish. I’m an early riser so this was fine for us. However you can always find sunbeds on the back rows. The pool was lovely and big. Both my daughter and I enjoyed floating around in our inflatables. On the whole it’s a great hotel, but don’t expect big type all inclusive as this a small but well run hotel. The bar had a nice vibe in the evening outside on the decking area. Families and couples playing cards having a drink. I’d definitely recommend it to those looking for a chilled out hotel within walking distance to the resort centre.

Just about to leave for home tomorrow and been here 11 nights. First thoughts I wasn't overly impressed but wow did this place grow on me. The most pleasing thing for us was food quality, far better than expected for a 3* hotel. Always well cooked and very tasty. The ambience was so peaceful, life taken at a very slow pace just what's needed! Everything was immaculate and clean. Didn't love the room but clean and functional. If I had to criticise anything would probably be drinks quality but didn't bother us so much we just went to local bars half the evenings of our holiday. Overall very happy with value for money and would consider returning

We are now on day 6 of our holiday and what can I say! Absolutely 1st Class! The hotel is immaculate clean , the pool area is the same plenty of sun loungers and beautiful greenery. It’s so quiet to just sit and soak the atmosphere or reading a book

We left today after an 11 day stay at the Hotel. This place is very special, we loved the relaxed atmosphere and tanked plenty of energy to get back to work. So first of all I would like to speak about the food. Yes it is sometimes luke warm but it is cooked to perfection and didn't bother us in the slightest as it is currently very hot in Zante and was just right for us. The variety is limited as a smaller buffet, however what is on offer is very well cooked and we not once struggled. Extremely good quality food for a 3* hotel . We had very little repeat of meals in 11 days. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. The guy at the pool bar is always smiling and happy. The reception staff are all very helpful and recommended us a local restaurant which was fantastic. Rooms are spacious and very clean, the cleaners work very hard. We had a superior room.We could get sunbeds every day, it does not matter were you get one as the sun is everywhere. There isn't much entertainment at night but suited us well as we wanted to relax and that was fully achieved. This hotel is a little jewel and well managed by the teams. Loved every minute and we will be back. Room 143

5/5 Again for the Bitzaro. Our 3rd visit. Amazing staff who just want to make your holiday as happy as possible. One of our party had a 60th birthday whilst there asked reception if we could get a small cake? Yes I'll get the pastry chef to make one for you and we'll bring it out with the candle's on. No real issues with sun loungers but still a few towel numpties at first light. Fab food and lots of choices. Only minor gripe is the soft drinks/tonic not great quality get a soda tap installed in the pool bar and main bar. Absolutely no complaints it's a great hotel, spotless efficient and gets everything right. Great location just off the *****, short walk to the beach. Nice to see Costas too.

We were made so welcome on our return to this lovely hotel. Swift check in and rooms are spotlessly clean. Most comfortable bed, wanted to bring it home. Food is very good, both in main restaurant and Poolside Snackbar. Great location - a couple of minutes walk to main *****, bars and restaurants and 10 minutes from the beach. The staff are what make this hotel special. From reception, cleaning staff waiters. Alway smiling and very helpful. Had excellent 2 weeks. Will certainly be returning soon.

We have been visiting this hotel since 2015. A beautiful hotel in lovely grounds in a very good position for both the beach and restaurants and bars. Staff in every role do a brilliant job and are all very friendly and ensure you enjoy your stay. Restaurant service and food is excellent. All areas are kept extremely clean. Our room was cleaned to a excellent standard every morning. Bar service during the day and night was excellent and always served by very friendly staff. Really can't fault this hotel and look forward to returning in 2025.

We had a really lovely stay. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel itself is really pretty and clean. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a jacuzzi suite half way through our stay, and having the private pool felt so luxurious. The food was consistently good with a fair amount of variety even for a Pescetarian, and we thought the fresh additions (like churros, crepes and omelettes) being made in front of you at each meal was a great extra touch. The most pleasant surprise for us was the live music every few nights; they were all genuinely brilliant! We expected the evenings to be relatively quiet with no typical entertainment (which we were deliberately avoiding!) but there was a relaxed but lovely atmosphere every night with lots of guests at the bar and on the terrace playing table games. The second half of our stay fell into October and it did start to feel a bit quieter but certainly not dead, and that’s to be expected towards the end of the season. The only improvement for us would be the quality of the all inclusive drinks, but there was enough selection that we could always find something drinkable. The area is fine for what we wanted, as we were mostly looking to stay at the hotel anyway. On our final night we went for a meal at Zakanthi on the main ***** and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for such a lovely relaxing break and making us feel so special and taken care of.

Stayed at the Bitzaro Grande with my wife for a short break mid September. Upon our arrival we were ushered into the restaurant which was about to close and told to return after we had eaten to check in. From that moment on we were looked after by the polite, friendly staff, from the check in, restaurant and bar staff and the cleaners, they were always on hand and only too happy to help. The rooms were clean and tidy and very comfortable. With it being out of the main season there was no mad rush for sun loungers around the pool, there were plenty and always available. All the rooms were occupied so this was quite pleasing. The beach is a pleasant ten minute walk away along a very quite road. The restaurants, bars and shops are again just a couple of minutes walk away and we were surprised in these days of All Inclusive that the bars and restaurants were busy every night. Having said that we were always able to get a seat wherever we visited. I don't know what this hotel is like during the high season but for us it was just perfect and would definitely recommend. The airport is only about ten minutes drive away which for us was a bonus as it meant no lengthy transfer journey. Obviously being so close means you get aircraft taking off and landing throughout the day but I did not hear anyone comment or moan about this, in fact most people seemed to enjoy watching the planes. We will definitely see you again next year Bitzaro. Yamas.
