Keri Village & Spa by Zante Plaza (Adults Only)

For the price of the hotel I expected more. The hotel is located literally in the middle of no where. We only came for 3 nights which was enough. If you are here longer then a car is a must. The food quality was pretty good, the hot food was actually hot which was a bonus. The pool area is nice, we always got a lounger. The pool towels though you need a 10€ cash deposit and 3€ to clean them. The all inclusive spirits were very weak, you could drink all day with no effect. The local beach is nice, we hired a speed boat which was good fun. The room was pretty good although shower was poor. The staff were very friendly.

Hi everyone I’ve read this reviews on here many times and somtimes they are helpful and sometimes not. Well here’s my review. Arrived on Friday no problem. Charged €20 for towel deposit which it says nowhere in the booking. Pointed to out rooms and the outside around the pool was breathe taking, really clean and tidy then got into our room snd felt like I’d walked into a 1990 room in some doggy hotels I’ve stopped when I didn’t care. It was so outdated and not cleaned very well. The taps for example have never had a wipe over, or the shower curtain is attached to an old shower door frame. The place stank of damp too. The bed had to be fixed by myself. Old fashioned safes where they charge you 15 euros for the week. Next the restaurant, I’ve had the pleasure of going all over the world for pleasure and work and this is the worst food I’ve ever come across in a all inclusive. Lack of choice, over cooked food, the pain au chocolate so dry it would make a great new patheanon incredible. Dry bread watered down beans then no beans. Boiled eggs that have been boiled ages ago then disappeared left with square bacon and hard fried eggs for breakfast. Dinner time didn’t do much better. Most days it was overcooked and cold which I personally hate in 21 meals, 3 meals a day x7 one good breakfast one good dinner and one good teatime. You can find things to eat but I didn’t enjoy them. The drink is s joke, plenty of choice but think they are very watered down never felt tipsy once. I tried lol Entertaining was a bloke /dj was 2 hrs for one night only and the atmosphere was like a jail. If your on s budget, please save up £300/400 mor and book elsewhere. There was no rep visit at all in the week. Good points. The free bus is very good if the times suit and it new so the previous comments about having holes in the floor are not there. Also Keri beach lovely which nice restaurant from £20-£50 for us 2 and can get a nice drink. Also boat hire is very reasonable and we had a guided boat ride with 2 other couples from the hotel and was £70 per couple. Anyway really think about this hotel please

A fantastic welcome, shown to our room very quickly, room was lovely and clean and smelt so nice. Pool area very well maintained and clean. We were invited to eat just after arriving even though it was after lunch, the portions were huge. Throughout the holiday we always found plenty of well cooked food on the buffet. This 10 day break was a surprise for my sister as she was getting married and didn't want a hen do, so was a very relaxing break for us both before the mayhem of the wedding preparations. After a long journey from UK to the Keri Village Hotel we were received by a miserable receptionist who said she didn't have any double rooms left and had just given the last away. We had booked a superior double room and given a room with two hard singles pushed together with single itchy bed linen segregating each bed! The room was ground floor, with a narrow patio door which was so insecure you could push it open from the outside. We looked out onto another apartment and a walkway. So no privacy. This has been the worst hotel room I have ever had with the rudest receptionist. My first experience of Greece was very tainted because of the receptionist attitude( we will file for compensation due to the price we paid for the upgrade which we never got). The cleaners, waiters and kitchen staff were gems. Food for me as a vegetarian was plentiful but I was only there 7 days. The hostel oops hotel is very remote, but relaxing. Pool had been icy cold so I never bothered. We used the shuttle bus/vehicle to take us to the beach and beautiful harbour front. Lovely restaurants and a few shops. Sunbeds, boats and trips to hire. Would I go back to the Keri village hotel, no. Would I visit Zante again, yes its beautiful, if you hired a car you could experience a lot more.

We booked a superior twin and upon arrival we were put in a one room double facing a carpark so we paid 300 euros for and upgrade and all we got was an extra room ie, a dining room and the shower was/is so poor that I could get more water coverage from a watering can , not much help from reception either, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it says four star but its four star from it. Nearly 2 thousand pounds on a holiday for two and we could of got more for our money if we went camping in Scotland, not a happy customer at all and I will be making a further complaint to jet 2 also.......

Beautiful and peaceful place. Great gateway with your partner or close friend. The view was amazing . The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was friendly. The spa is small and the girl was vey professional.

If you want a place to relax, get away from everything, then this is the place. Remote, small but very pleasant. All the staff are great, just say hello to them and everyone, and you will be mixing with everyone from Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands as well as all the places in the UK. The food was great, especially on Greek night. Yes there is a limited amount, but there is only 44 room here, so choice is limited, but you can alway make or mix it up to have a good meal. Not forgetting snacks in the morning and afternoon…more than enough to eat, always. Breakfast was the best tho…. Entertainment was 3 nights a week… Greek night with dancing, a band/ pair of singers another, a different take on modern songs.. and everyone’s fav, Karaoke…don’t worry the birds and the bees came back in the morning. Above all, a very relaxing tempo, the odd trip to the local shop via transport proved, the rest of the time, trying all the cocktails and read, play cards by the pool. A truly relaxing holiday for if you want to be away from everything and just be with a small number fellow people.

Location, people , food , everything was great! Felling like home away from home. The team gives a great value to the place!! Housekeeping team is smashing the place , they arrange the room within 5 minutes and you have everything arranging and new towels ! The food was stunning including the snacks , and drinks just flowing !! Special mention to Landi and Kiki :) they have as extra attentions :) Definitely recommending all brands by Zante plaza !

This was the first child free holiday we've had since before lockdown. It was apparent upon arrival that the photos on the TUI website were many years old or photoshopped. It's tired and outdated. Not a 4*, barely even a 3*. The food was repetitive and incredibly limited. There weren't enough tables and chairs for the 1.5hr dinner slot and many guests, including us, would rock up an hour early to secure a table. The price does not match the experience that the holiday provides. However... BEST holiday we've had in years and was sod all to do with the hotel. The other guests were fantastic, fun, friendly, easy going, riotously funny, kind, considerate. All the best bits of human nature. Thwarted by the hotel itself there was such camaraderie here that we actually grew to love this faded, faulty towers hotel. This is NOT a commercially built up area. It's beautiful, backwards and benign. We made our own entertainment. Chilled out by lack of "busy" and cheap chilled wine. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The beach was a gem. The company was fine. We will come back one day, especially if the prices are lowered comparative with what is actually offered by the hotel itself. On a side note, the miserable little sod with the glasses was a great source of amusement to those that could sit back and enjoy just how crap he actually was. He does need to find employment elsewhere though. The more elderly guests should not be exposed to someone so lacking in calibre. If you come here - lower your expectations then lower them again and make the absolute best of it with those you find yourself in the company of.
