the room photo in the apps is different with reality！i not recommend to select this hotel if you want the matterhorn！but the staff us nice！

a simple nice hotel, friendly n helpful stuff, i like the public area which we can chill talking at 1st floor ,honesty bar

Lovely hotel with warm hospitality. Very nice service and room is ok.

酒店位置在半山腰處，可以看到部分全景，酒店裝修風格也是非常nice，外面雖然下着大雪，但是房間內暖氣熱的受不了，就是價格有點小貴

離采爾馬特火車站還是有點遠，特別是下雪路面就直接放棄提箱子走路去酒店，因為我走到一半導航也不知道從哪裡上去，直接火車站打的士過去吧！好像是超過晚上7點就沒人辦入住，需要郵件聯繫會發開門密碼自行進去，但是聯繫攜程客服也可以轉發郵件，早餐還是不錯！房間其實挺一般！

I had a wonderful and the most enjoyable time of my life with my beloved wife. I would personally thank Mrs Hannalore and Mr Andre and the whole staff of Hotel Ambiance. A complimentary Room upgrade..superb breakfast and out of the world hospitality.. I would strongly recommend everyone to stay here and no where in Zermatt. I look forward to be there again.. Quiet street, excellent service. We had an amazing Whiskey tasting experience with Andre, I have a new appreciation and knowledge for Scotch now! The Honesty Bar is delightful after a long day exploring Zermatt. The breakfast offerings were delicious, fresh local cheeses and preserves, breads, fruit and protein to start your day. Definitely enjoy and get your day started right! Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn.

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely family run hotel. The location is less than 10 mins walk from the Zermatt train station, 5 mins from the centre of Zermatt and 15 mins from the cable car station to the Matterhorn. The owners Hannelore & Andre greeted us on arrival and were friendly and attentive (but not overly). The hotel is really cosy, with lovely rooms and a great walk in shower. We paid extra to get a view of the Matterhorn which was spectacular and so good we walked back to the hotel to sit on the balcony and have lunch from a local bakery. The breakfast was lovely with fresh local bread and ingredients, it does not serve other meals but this was not a problem given the closeness of the town centre - we would recommend the Zermatt Kitchen very close the hotel. A lovely stay and we would definitely return and recommend

Lovely views and great service. The extra euros for a room with a Matterhorn view is well worth it if the weather is good, but be aware this is often not the case. Breakfast was quite good and the staff is friendly and efficient. Small attended bar during regular hours and an "Honesty Bar" 24/7. Easily recommended.

My husband and I selected this hotel for our first trip to the Alps. We absolutely LOVED Hotel Ambiance! The perfect view to the Matterhorn was magical! We enjoyed the balcony and marveled at the Matterhorn view for hours! Even a few clouds come and go throughout the day always changing that magical view. It does not get old. Would recommend this hotel 110%! Our main reason for selecting it was the view! Hotel Ambiance has very nice amenities and we would absolutely return! Worth the price! Excellent service, updated room, but kept all the charm of the classic Swiss chalet.

What a find, this place delivered an excellent experience all round. For a 3* hotel the rooms, though compact, were spotless, and very well appointed. Comfy beds, mini-fridge with a few freebies, coffee machine, kettle and teabags. There’s a lift also. Breakfast included was really nice and fresh - large range of breads, pastries, cereals, cold meats, fruit, cheeses, and hot items like eggs, bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes and pancakes. Though I didn’t use it, the bar and lounge were nicely appointed and well stocked with drinks and chess board. Open-air hot tub was open and I saw other guests enjoying it. Plenty of heated storage for skis and boots. Location was good and quiet, short walk into town and not far from trains and lifts to the slopes. On arrival from the station it’s maybe a 10min walk to the hotel - Google Maps sent us up a steep-ish hill which might be a struggle if we had more bags, but there is a flatter alternative route through the town which is maybe 5 mins longer We stayed in a Matterhorn-sunrise-view junior suite on the 3rd floor (there’s a lift) with a balcony. I would be surprised if there’s a better view of the Matterhorn anywhere else in Zermatt.

Absolutely in love with this place and definitely will come back to the same hotel ! Staff is very friendly and efficient! Receptionist Matilde is extremely polite and professional! We even extended our vacation and stayed one more night there as we love it so much. The view from the dining area and jacuzzi is stanning ! Very satisfied with our choice of the hotel

What an amazing experience to stay at Ambiance! Great service from front desk staff to breakfast service and housekeeping. Great location and Stephanie had excellent recommendations for dinners several nights. We loved Zermatt. It was the crowning jewel of a trip of a lifetime!

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. And the sauna and electric heat therapy was ideal for me after many kilometres in a car, on a motorcycle, in planes, and on buses. We had a completely relaxing experience. If we stay in Zermatt again, I won’t bother looking to stay anywhere else.
