Расположение хорошее, но рядом с отелем много бездомных. Номер был чистым и комфортным, завтрак был действительно очень хорошим. Плохо то, что нет бесплатной парковки (они предлагают услуги парковщика за 59 долларов, что очень дорого). Если вам повезет, вы найдете несколько бесплатных мест для ночной парковки рядом с отелем (бесплатно с 7 вечера до 8 утра). Так что я бы рекомендовал этот отель, если вы путешествуете без машины.

Location : This depends on the guest's purpose of visit, but mine was for business. Having said that, the nearby train rail which runs all day long including late-night and early-morning does not help (You can hear this from the entire hotel). There is a small pizzeria, which seems to be attracting the town's 'night-crowds', and you can hear their V8 muscle engine at late night, which also did not help (You only hear this from one side of the hotel). Other than those two noise issues, the hotel is located at a very quiet and calm part of the town neighboring to many business buildings. Cleanliness : It's been newly renovated not long ago and things are clean and tidy. However, the hotel only offers a light duvet so I pulled out the fleece like blanket from the closet and it had many strands of hair stuck to it. This was my second time staying here and I had this same experience the first time I stayed so it proves that the hotel does not wash these blankets. Service : Check-in & Check-out was smooth and staffs were friendly. Also, the room cleaning service was good. My only complaint is, that it does not offer a in-room slippers. I am fully aware of environmental issue regarding disposable products but this is only thing you really need from the hotel, and is very difficult to bring along &/ buy, when you are traveling. I completely agree with not offering tooth brush, hair comb, razor & etc. but I really wish and expect to be offered a pair of slippers from a premium brand hotel. I think Mariott is big enough to come up with a creative way to offer slippers to its guests for their comfort & conveniency, in a way that doesn't harm our environment. Facility : It has a nice lobby with large TV showing news or sports games. Offers a small snack bar with drinks. All clean and nice. Also has a fitness gym facility and a washing machine / laundry room. I only found out this time (2nd time staying here) but if I am back, I will be using them for sure.

Ремонт в нашем номере был не так уж и свеж, поэтому фотографии могут быть немного обманчивы. Кровать была удобной, но ночью я слышал, как люди ходят над нашим номером. У меня также возникли проблемы с парковкой: поиск места был очень напряженным. Планируйте тратить около 40 долларов в день на парковку, если вы много ездите. Ночная парковка, которая находится примерно в 10-15 минутах ходьбы, не находится на территории отеля и стоит всего 20 долларов за ночь, но после 22:00 гулять здесь небезопасно из-за проблем с бездомными в этом районе. Не думаю, что вернусь в этот отель. Я определенно не считаю, что это трехзвездочный отель, я бы дал ему 2,5 из 4 или 5 звезд. Завтрак был в лучшем случае континентальным. Выпечка с соком или кофе и фруктами. Иногда давали йогурт или овсянку в коробках с овсяным молоком, но ничего особенного, и если приехать до 9 утра, то продукты могут закончиться. В Портленде много интересного, но из-за проблемы с бездомными я искал рекомендации лучших достопримечательностей и обходил стороной проблемные районы. Парк Вашингтона и художественный музей были очень интересными. До водопада Малтнома можно было добраться на целый день, и приехать туда очень рано, так как парковка ужасная, или же можно припарковаться за пределами отеля и доехать на трамвае. С меня также взяли дополнительную плату в размере 25 долларов за ночь, о которой не было сказано в квитанции на trip.com.

We were very disappointed to discover that there were no kitchen essentials, I guess we didn't study the fine print to understand that, but honestly.....not even a cup to get a drink out of??? No icemaker in the hotel, and no way to make ice in the freezer in the room? The pull out bed had no bedding or pillows. There was ONE roll of toilet paper for three of us for three nights. NO HAND TOWELS is ridiculous!!! When I asked about them the clerk said we should just use our washcloth. The bath towels were tiny and inadequate. But, by far....the worst thing about this place was there was NO HOT WATER in the shower!! It was clear the lever had been purposely adjusted to stop in the straight up position not allowing the lever to be turned left toward the hot water side. After we all had to endure a lukewarm shower I asked at the desk about it and was told we would need to exit the room for their repair person to adjust it. So we did. The next morning? Even colder!!! That alone, I believe warrants a full refund. OH.......and to top it off....a crazy lady shouting profanities was in the parking lot and the desk clerk solved the problem by...bringing her into the hotel to be with all of us. How is this right? How is this any way to run a brand new hotel. How is this place worthy of the Choice hotel brand? It is not. I fully expect a representative to contact me for a partial credit. Cold showers are not what I paid for. Thank you.

.The hotel left a mixed impression. Despite the excellent reviews and not being the cheapest option, we were overall disappointed. Starting with the positives: A very convenient location in a pleasant, green, and quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. There are plenty of great cafés, small shops, restaurants, and wine bars nearby. Polite and friendly staff at the front desk. Interesting room design. Spacious parking available for hotel guests. Large rooms. Now the downsides: Thin walls and creaky floors made it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing is basically nonexistent. The young couple staying in the next room was clearly enjoying their time together, which unfortunately meant a very uncomfortable experience for us. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy — not only did it hum loudly when running, but it also made constant knocking sounds. The breakfast was exceptionally poor. The only “hot” items seemed to be the coffee and a dishwasher, which, oddly enough, was placed right in the middle of the breakfast area. There were two small TVs in the room, both positioned very inconveniently for viewing, and neither had streaming services available. The housekeeping staff was intrusive — within a 20-minute period, they knocked on the door three times (and even tried to open it once), apparently trying to hurry us out, even though it was still before checkout time.
