Останавливались на одну ночь в двухместном номере на первом этаже. Удалось припарковаться у отеля, но только там, так что повезло. Номер был хорошего размера, и всех удобств было достаточно для двоих. Декор немного устарел, но в хорошем состоянии, и вы все равно понимаете, как великолепно он выглядел в те дни. Душ был над ванной, из-за чего было немного высоковато входить и выходить, и вода не уходила годами, но она была очень горячей и мощной. Завтрак был прекрасным — очень много народу, но нас быстро разместили, и мы не чувствовали необходимости торопиться уходить. Единственный недостаток — номер был абсолютно холодным! Очень рекомендую и обязательно остановлюсь снова.

Cozy little inn, great atmosphere in a rural countryside location. Food was very good, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Can’t ask for anything more!

I can and do recommend this hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 17 nights. My room was on the ground floor and was very comfortable, there is not one thing that I can complain about. I got to know the staff, who were absolutely magnificent. They could have done nothing more to make me feel very welcome and at home. From the reception, bar, dining room, kitchen and housekeeping staff, they made me feel like I came home every evening when I got back to the hotel. They went out of their way for me. Thank you to Varun, Aniken, Jake, Vix and the rest of the staff. I can’t recommend Garner Samlesbury Hotel enough!!!

Stayed at the Barton Manor hotel and spa with my daughter….we had a wonderful time….from arriving to leaving the staff can’t do enough for you…the breakfast is really nice…we did not book into the restaurant for evening meal, but I was told by other guests…that the restaurant food was delicious. We will definitely be going back .

We had two rooms booked. 1 room was with elederly parents! The room given was a fair walk and was quite far from the reception area with no assistance only verbal directions. It would've been nice to have had some assistance from staff. When we got to the room the sink plughole was blocked so I rang reception to get it fixed, didn't happen! Questioned reception duty staff and he lied and he said he had it fixed by maintenance when no one even came to look at it! This isn't the service we expected from ‘Mercure’ standard. Leaning over the bath to brush our teeth and everytime we needed to wash our hands after using the toilet we had to use the bathtub. Not sure I read anywhere but to use the swimming facilities the adults have to pay £10 fee. Other than that the hotel is near local shops/motorway as well.

The hotel and entrance are great, no complaints there. I’ve been a regular at another hotel within 5 miles of here, where the facilities are immaculate and the rooms are always meticulously clean. So I had high expectations. On walking into my room (250), it was freezing. I immediately turned on the electric radiator, but was woken up at 2am by the thermostat flicking on and off repeatedly. The digital screen kept lighting up and going off it felt like there was a rave in my room. Highly annoying and not conducive to a good night’s sleep. Before bed, I went for a shower and splashed foamy suds around as you do. After finishing, I was washing down the inside of the shower cubicle and noticed what I thought were leftover soap suds near the door handle. I went to wipe them off and I can tell you now, they were not soap suds. Absolutely disgusting. The previous occupant clearly lacked basic hygiene, and although it shouldn’t be expected, the cleaners really need to have a keener eye for detail. This sort of thing should never be missed. Good facilities such as pools and sauna as always, but rare choices of breakfast buffet, stay 4 nights but had to request reception on the first day to third day for tidying up the room

Nice hotel. Service good, free sweets on counter even better. Standard double comfortable. Great shower. Slight negative…breakfast at £18 is a bit pricey. However, breakfast areas kept pristine.

Stayed one night for business. The room was an adapted room so plenty of space. The bed and pillows however I found to be very uncomfortable, one of the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a long time Reception/bar staff are very helpful, cleanliness is on point all throughout the hotel
