Impressive old Mill with working wheel featured inside. We were in the top floor of the main building and whilst not the most up to date bedroom accommodation it was clean and comfortable with workable facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast buffet with both continental and full English breakfast options. Would definitely recommend and worked for us due to location to friends and family. Great value for money.

Забронировал пребывание в jockey club номера и также купил билеты на гонки. Парковался и оставил наш автомобиль в парке в джокей-клубе и поймал автобус на гоночный курс. Вернулся после нашего прекрасного дня на гонках и проверил. У нас была красивая комната, осматривающая сады. В номерах есть хорошие мебель, очень классные. Ванная была огромной. С большой ванной с душем и отдельным душем и двойными затонами и огромным зеркалом. Нагрузки горячей воды и сильного водного давления. Завтрак тоже очень классный. Served in a lovely room. There was a lot of continental choices and cooked menu. We had yoghurt, fruit compote and granola, juice, toast, pastries, omelet and smoked хаддока. I love the place, it is so full of history. Small double room, very soft mattress, bathroom was tiny, no surface for your washbag etc, very tatty bathroom suite, sink cracked from top to bottom, shower leaked so badly that the flooring was warped and leaked onto bedroom carpet leaving wet patch after each use.

Have stayed at Orwell Hotel many times. First time in 2002! Great location, very comfortable and clean, great breakfasts, plenty of lounge space. My only quibble was that hotel didn't really seem geared up for dinners/lunches, maybe there is less demand for these nowadays. In the past the main dining room has been used and it was more formal/smarter.

We had to change our plans at short notice and find a hotel. A local friend seemed to know where the hotel was and confirmed it was quite near to where we were all meeting as well as a very short walk from Ipswich Station.. It was very pleasing to the eye inside and the room was also to a high standard. Couldn't fault this hotel. Breakfast was extremely good too. I have already recommended it to friends.

A very foggy cold night after a busy day it was nice to be welcomed by a friendly and informative receptionist. One nights stay room with small balcony overlooking the golf course and an incredible heater. Water pressure in shower is low but water hot The rooms feel they would benefit from being updated a few niggles . *TV remote didn't turn TV off had to get up and pop hand behind set and turn off at socket. **The hair on the bath definitely not mine! **No obvious hairdryer. ***Room Service called twice extn not answered went via reception transferred to the bar salmon cream cheese on brown ordered arrived quickly unfortunately on white bread. Pink G&T delicious. Breakfast. Warm welcome and explanation offered from team. Great variety and the hot food was hot. **** The team brief at the bar perhaps could have been carried out elsewhere. Checkout painless.

Хорошее расположение, номер чистый и опрятный. Кровать раздвинута на двуспальную, как и просили. Идеальное место для нашей поездки в Ипсвич на футбольный матч, в нескольких минутах ходьбы.

Lovely hotel in great location. Over expensive, and the welcome we received from the receptionist was far from friendly. On the plus side the breakfast was excellent, with friendly waiting staff.
