This location is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room is about what you would expect for a budget hotel except it is in need of serious upgrades. There was a huge hole in the wall of our room and numerous things needed to be fixed and repaired (cosmetic). The bed was clean and comfortable except for the pillows which were too bulky to sleep on. I used a towel for a pillow. Also there was a very loud vehicle running outside (sounded like a generator) until midnight. Not that this is the hotel’s fault but just shows the type of clientele. There weren’t very many vehicles there when we stayed. There are 3 other hotels in the same area (Wyngate, Comfort Inn, and one other that I can’t remember.)

У них была ограниченная информация о компаниях, занимающихся доставкой еды в этом районе, поэтому мы взяли пару листовок, которые у них были. Одна из них была посвящена пиццерии Emilio's, это была единственная листовка с пиццей. В итоге мы заказали её, и с нас взяли 8 долларов за доставку и 25 долларов за большую пиццу, плюс другие налоги. В итоге получилось 40 долларов за пиццу, которая оказалась размером с обычную среднюю пиццу и на вкус как замороженная пицца из супермаркета. Это было отвратительно, и мы даже не стали её есть.
Кроме того, мы попросили заселиться на полтора часа раньше, я в инвалидном кресле и устала, они хотели взять с нас 80 долларов, поэтому мы отказались, так как номер и так стоил 128 долларов.

Bardzo przyjemny i komfortowy hotel. Pokój bardzo czysty, z wygodnym dużym łóżkiem w rozmiarze ”Queen size”. Śniadanie w porządku, ale bez rewelacji. Jest to tradycyjne śniadanie, jakie zwykle serwowane jest w hotelach podobnej klasy w USA, czyli jajecznica, tosty i kawa. Reasumując - dobry hotel w dobrej cenie. Na krótki służbowy pobyt, jak w moim przypadku, jest to idealne rozwiązanie. Polecam.

Расположение отличное, прибрежный вид красивый! Много вариантов питания доступны в пределах расстояния. Только неблагоприятный был тот факт, что хозяева разорвали в моей комнате в 10 утра, не стучая или говоря, кто они за час до отъезда. Очень жутко, я понимаю, что происходит недоразумение, но это был очень непрофессиональный способ пойти на это.

ГГостьChecked in really late (around midnite but they held my room. I called ahead to let them know I'd be flying in late. Conveniently located on one of the major arteries, which incidentally conveniently ends at the US Coast Guard Training Center. I attended my son's training graduation but his checkout went long - probably because their NCO missed them and didn't want them to leave....so I ended up checking out of the hotel much later than the standard checkout time (11am - I checked out just after 1pm) - but because it was USCG related - they waived the late fee - which was greatly appreciated.
The entrance was easy to park (it was raining) and checkin was really simple once we confirmed my reservation. The breakfast nook was directly opposite the checkin counter which made things easier for later that morning (included breakfast). The elevator hallway had a machine which dispensed junk food and sodas - but you need physical cash to use them. Elevator made for deja vu as it's a standard Radisson layout. The room was clean - no weird smells and quite large and spacious with a receiving room (sofa and tv) hot water pot for coffee tea etc. The bathroom was well stocked with towels but the body wash was weirdly located next to the bathroom sink instead of the shower - that was strange. Hand soap was nice and sizable (useful as a body wash, given the fixed location of the body wash next to the sink). The bed was huge (king?) with plenty of pillows and bedding (sheets blankets etc). The room was quite warm which was nice since it was cold and wintery and wet outside. Staff were all very very nice and welcoming and polite.
All in all - most excellent experience from checkin to checkout. But it's the staff which make the experience smooth and enjoyable.

ГГостьIn pics and in person the modern fresh room style is appealing though the functionality is sub-par. An example: one night table was a solid piece, no drawer or shelf with the top diameter much smaller than my laptop. Typically, a phone (use as an alarm), a bottle of water and an iPad , e-reader or book/magazine would be on a nightstand. Whoops, no room for all that and the slick surface made me nervous to leave my iPad on it. The open closet is fine, especially for me as I don't hang or put clothes in a drawer, but the only space available that wasn't in the bathroom is directly below where one would hang their clothes and right above the fridge. This could make it a perfect spot for a soft sided cooler, but this relatively small space (didn't measure, maybe 14”x20” with Keurig-style coffee maker already on it) is where one might set snacks, extra sodas, the cereal one brings because they like to eat the same thing every day and need a spot to set their cereal bowl while grabbing milk out of fridge right below. Not sure about you, but I'm not terribly comfortable putting food & dishes in the bathroom. Unfortunately, that is where my coffee maker needed to go (if I'm remembering correctly) the outlets where not accessible so Mr. Nespresso did need to go in the bathroom.
Bathroom shower had some mold around the caulk area, otherwise serviceable. Not a horrible room overall, but not as nice as other similarly priced nearby chains so I'll stick to those.

BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatBE AWARE: they told me at checkout yesterday that I’d get my $50 deposit back by the evening. Then they said in 3 days. Now they’re saying in 5 days. Still showing that I was charged on my credit card app… So we’ll see if I get that back!
About our stay: If you’re brave and on a budget, you’ll be fine here. But if you’re big on cleanliness and safety then skip this location.
Random crap on the carpet. Shower handles leak all over the floor, and there’s rust all over the ceiling and stuff shoved into gaps to prevent leaks.
The door isn’t secure at all, and the latch chain could just be ripped off if someone pushed hard on the door.
Blood stains (or at least what appeared to be) on the curtain, which also had a massive rip in it.
PROS: no bedbugs and we definitely felt safe there. If in a pinch, we’d stay again because it was cheap (IF I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK, that is. Otherwise it’s not cheap) People at the hotel were friendly, I just hope they’re not lying about giving my deposit back 😂
Breakfast was cereals, breads, gravy, eggs and sausage, and a waffle maker. Nothing seemed fresh, we didn’t really eat much.
Again, if you want cheap, it’s safe enough and does the job. If you want a refreshing stay, look elsewhere.

MMaxwell1492After crossing the luminous metro area of Richmond, I arrived at this beautiful hotel.
It is located in a tranquil neighborhood, away from the noise of the city, yet still close to restaurants and shops. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and well-lit, giving me a good first impression.
The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable.
When I woke up the next morning, I was showered in the bright sunshine. The large window filled the room with natural light, which made the start of the day refreshing.
Breakfast was served downstairs, offering the typical Hampton Inn options—eggs, sausages, waffles, cereals, and fresh fruit. It was simple but satisfying.
Overall, it was a pleasant one-night stay, and I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful environment near Richmond.

ГГостьThis is a lovely hotel! It's classy and elegant, and overall it'll make your vacation that much more special. The location is great, as you can walk to restaurants or other places in Luray. The Luray Caverns are a quick drive away, as is a Walmart and Food Lion, and Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap Entrance is close by. I ate at the Circa '31 restaurant for breakfast, which was reasonably priced (the menu is small with a few standard breakfast options). Free coffee and muffins in the lobby at all times. The Speakeasy restaurant is very good, and has various specials/deals each night. The bedrooms are small, but comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, with an area for bonfires and hammocks, as well as a pool and hot tub area. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
A few recommendations for the management:
~Put mini fridges in the rooms
~Put chairs on the balcony so people can use it as a sitting area
~Something to provide more counter space in the bathrooms
I recommend the Mimslyn Inn to anyone staying in the Luray area!

ГГостьThe SureStay Oceanfront hotel was a pleasant surprise. The small check-in lobby is at the back of the garage, and had me wondering if I'd made a mistake. But the room key-entry elevator got us to the 4th floor fast. (I liked that security and speed) We went to our room, #404 and when we opened the door we were pleased. Spacious living room, beautiful ocean view, decent bathroom, separate bedroom, and it was VERY clean, which we appreciate very much. Really liked the kitchen with sink, stove, full-sized fridge and microwave.
We have paid a lot more for a lot less! Beach access was on the 1st floor, and put you right on the boardwalk. Not much to complain about. The only negatives were: 1. Only one remote for two TV's. Could have asked for another one, but we didn't need it. 2. The neighbors next door had screaming kids, and you could hear them through the vent. Fortunately it didn't last long. Besides that, we were VERY happy with our stay.
