Absolutely love our stay at the brighthouse, though it’s only a night. Superb service. Superb view from the room. Superb amenities and superb breakfast. Everything is great! We even got free gifts from the host. So lovely and thoughtful 🫶🏻

I returned because I had a good stay there period time, and I was pleased to see the same high consistency.

Джимми (владелец) тепло встретил меня и подарил подарок. Номер был удобным и чистым. В нем даже был балкон, где можно было посидеть и полюбоваться видом на весь город. Джимми и его персонал очень любезны. Они предоставили превосходное обслуживание, а завтрак был вкусным и питательным. В городе не самый лучший транспорт, но Джимми был настолько любезен, что отвез меня в город и забрал, когда я заканчивал. Когда я выезжал, мне подарили коробку чая — замечательный подарок на предстоящий китайский Новый год. В целом, я бы оценил это место на 12/10. Это не только место для проживания, но и заставило меня почувствовать себя как дома. Плюсом является милая собака Ао Хуа. Она дружелюбная и игривая.

There are a few routes to get to the hotel. We took the hard route but the shortest way to get to the hotel when we first touch down Beitou from the MRT station. So we took the side staircase route to get to the hotel, it was a short walk, a slight uphill and downhill slope to get to the hotel. We have to go through a few private apartments before we get to the hotel. Overall the hotel location is quite strategic, we can walk to the market very easily about 15-20 minutes walk to the night market. It is near to the morning wet market too. A lot of fresh vegetables and fresh fruits sold there. Bought very sweet guavas there. We tried and went back to buy even more. Oh yeah the private hot spring tub is also very relaxing too! Overall very nice stay at Beitou. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed 5 days in Taichung for our pre-wedding shoot, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Just a 10-minute walk to Wernar Wedding, and everything else we wanted to explore was nearby. Morning strolls to Third Market for breakfast, a sweet stop at Miyahara for ice cream, a fun baking session at the Sun Cake Museum, and night walks to Yizhong Market for food. Loved how walkable everything was! The only downside is there there is not enough space to open luggage.

Great hotel with an excellent view. I spent the whole night drinking with stunning view. The service from the crew is friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about.

Glad to have booked the seaview room. The view didn't disappoint! The room itself was spacious, with a nice little balcony. And water pressure for the shower was great! Breakfast was served in a cute little basket, which you could bring up to the room or to eat at the lobby with their 2 cats and their friendly dog, Banana. The host was super helpful to help us book transport though he was rushing to go out. A very good experience overall.
