Расположение отеля очень хорошее. Его можно считать лучшим отелем в Баден-Бадене. Расположение напротив фонтанного зала и казино. Как и ожидалось, мне не предоставили тот тип номера, который я забронировал вначале. После переговоров меня поменяли на номер большего размера. Так что, если у вас плохой английский, при бронировании номера в Европе забронируйте номер с основными удобствами. Не переплачивайте за номер другого типа, потому что вам обязательно предложат номер похуже. Это мой опыт. Отель находится очень близко к центральному району, в нескольких минутах ходьбы. Рядом с отелем есть ресторан, который очень популярен. Он практически полон, и его обслуживает лично женщина-босс. Заказал свиную рульку и свиные ребрышки на гриле, они были восхитительны. Завтрак в отеле очень хороший, обслуживание внимательное. Баден-Баден – спокойный и романтический курортный город.

Gutes Hotel im zentraler Lage. Service war absolut Top. Aufgrund eines technischen Problems in unserem Zimmer, wurde uns spontan ein kostenneutrales Zimmerupgrade angeboten. Der Servicemitarbeiter am Empfang war äußerst bemüht und hat alles binnen kurzer Zeit geregelt. Gerne wieder.

Das Hotel war ordentlich. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Ibis Styles doch etwas zu schlicht. Sah eher nach einem roten Ibis Hotel aus.

Персонал бесплатно изменил нам дату и взял на себя инициативу познакомить нас с близлежащими достопримечательностями. До центра города можно добраться всего за десять минут. If we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service. The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had. Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room. The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that. The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

The room was small but fine for a couple; however, for a family with a child, it felt a bit cramped. It was manageable for a short stay, but if you're planning to stay longer or need more space, it might not be ideal. Breakfast was suitable for those accustomed to a typical German breakfast—bread, cold cuts of cheese and sausage, yogurt, and muesli. For those looking for more variety, particularly Asian travelers, the options might feel limited as there were no warm dishes or other typical Asian breakfast items. One minor inconvenience was that our bottled water was not refilled after the first night, which was a bit disappointing. Also, be sure to lock your door because the cleaning staff may enter in the morning without warning, which can be quite startling if you're not expecting it. Overall, it's a good place for a quick stay, with a solid, reliable atmosphere and great cleanliness. Just be prepared for a few minor drawbacks, especially if traveling with family, needing more space, or looking for specific breakfast options.
