The location of the hotel is a little bit far from downtown, but it’s directly linked to a variety of restaurants inside the montecasino with great choices.

I loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪 Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool. Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!

We arrived late into Johannesburg from our flight from Dubai and were too late to catch our onward flight to Cape Town, so planned a night at the Intercontinental as it's proximity to the airport was so convenient.  It really was an easy walk from the terminal.  The beds are comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.
