I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

Location is perfect heart of the city. Just walk by Yale University. Rooms are big and very clean. Bathroom is very clear and complete with all needed amenities. Front desk always very friendly and polite. It’s my second time living in Omni Hotel New Haven and will choose again for my next trip. For those who they love nightlife must live here because it’s just cross the road have best nightlife bars and clubs. Perfect Hotel I Recommend 100%

酒店周邊環境很好，有教堂等可以轉轉，離鐵路站及超市都是不行距離，周邊也有餐廳，距離紐黑文和紐約都不遠。

Отель расположен в центре Нью-Хейвена. Весь отель украшен очаровательными элементами йельского стиля. Всего в здании 5 этажей. Вестибюль на первом этаже похож на музей и очень привлекает внимание, а остальные четыре этажа отведены под жилые комнаты. Номер не слишком большой, подходит для двух человек, кровать очень удобная, ванная комната просторная. В номере хорошая звукоизоляция и очень тихо. Персонал отеля очень дружелюбный. Вокруг отеля расположено множество ресторанов и продуктовых магазинов. В пешей доступности находится несколько местных китайских ресторанов, что делает жизнь очень удобной. Транспортная доступность также очень удобна. Автобусы до и из крупных аэропортов Нью-Йорка можно забронировать онлайн и припарковать прямо перед отелем. Отель хорошо известен в округе, и в высокий сезон его необходимо бронировать заранее.

Хороший отель с просторными номерами, включая мини-кухню, и дружелюбным обслуживанием. Идеальное место для посещения Йеля. Моя единственная претензия — лифты странно медленные, и только один из двух, похоже, работал. Учитывая все обстоятельства, я был бы очень рад остановиться здесь в следующий раз, когда буду в Нью-Хейвене.

Hotel staff was very friendly it was difficult to change the temperature in my bedroom and the furnace made a knocking noise when it clicked on and off. The toilet also ran periodically through the day.

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, modern, and had great amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Perfect location—close to attractions and dining. Breakfast was delicious with good variety. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. 5/5 stars!”
