Lovely overnight stay. Hotel was really busy with a large party but the staff looked after us really well. Not a reflection on the hotel but they booked a taxi to pick us up and the taxi firm were totally useless. Having waited twenty minutes past the scheduled time, we called an Uber which was there in five minutes. Overall, this is a great hotel which we have stayed at previously and will do so again.

К сожалению, мне дали номер на противоположной стороне от того, что я запрашивала, но я вернулась на ресепшн, и сотрудники очень помогли мне решить этот вопрос, и, возможно, мне дали правильный номер.

The staff was great, The room size is ok but the bathroom is not good because when you showered the water will splash out and almost flow out from the bathroom. Air conditioning is not working during my staying and it’s summer!🥵

Good location close to M42, free parking onsite, easy access to reception check in was straightforward lifts to all floors and the room was perfect clean and warm. self service for buffet breakfast good variety for every taste. would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Established in 1879, this hotel is indeed the Grand Birmingham Hotel! It oozes classiness throughout. Our room was spacious but looking at the floor plan, that seems to be the standard! Bathrobes provided though not slippers. The shower has a door instead of the useless walk in panels that never work! No useless espresso cups but proper world map mugs for our coffees and tea in-room. Two comfortable arm chairs and the bed… The bed was a dream and I’m hoping to source the exact mattress topper and duvet! Perfect for me as a smoker, the hotel has an exclusive courtyard terrace on the first floor offering complimentary self service coffee. There are two adjacent restaurants to the hotel that uphold a dress code ensuring the premises is classy throughout. Beyond the hotel doors there’s plenty other eateries as the hotel is bang in the centre right by the Birmingham Cathedral: again perfect for our following Palm Sunday. The only thing I don’t understand is why the hotel entrance is not bigger and grander than it deserves.

I live local, but due o having housework done and me being disabled, I was advised it would be beneficial for me to be out of the house for a few days. I picked Double Tree Hilton as they were offering the best price. I'm so glad I did. The staff could not do enough for you, especially Wendy, she is such an amazing lady, my 10 year old son said to me how amazing and helpful Wendy was and that says it all.

Мы воспользовались услугами бара и лаунж-зоны 🍹, где царила непринужденная атмосфера и было приветливое обслуживание. Завтрак был настоящей изюминкой 🍳🥐: свежий, обильный и вкусный, с широким выбором горячих и холодных блюд на любой вкус. Всё было в наличии даже в часы пик, а персонал был внимательным, но не навязчивым 😊. В целом, наше пребывание было комфортным, приятным и приятным. Идеальное расположение, чистые и хорошо оборудованные номера, хорошие удобства и великолепный завтрак делают этот отель отличным выбором для посещения Бирмингема 🌆. Мы с удовольствием остановимся здесь снова и можем с уверенностью рекомендовать его всем, кто собирается посетить этот город 👍

Room was spacious. Views were amazing. Staff were very helpful as I had a massive bouquet of flowers. 1 lady at Reception helped loads unfortunately we didn't get her name. Thank you.
