Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

1、酒店位置很好，走路去遊船碼頭也就10分鐘之內，附近餐廳非常多，食宿都很方便。房間很大，還有一個客廳，出乎意料，但客廳一側在床邊，旁邊就是街道，早晚有些吵，特別是英國車速一般都比較快，要略注意。早餐是提前準備的麪包酸奶麥片牛奶之類，有的在冰箱裏，有的在儲物櫃裏，不要有太大期待。 2、自駕過來的話，和前台要一張停車卡，每天3英鎊，無限停車，有好幾個位置可以停車，其實很方便。離開的時候，可以先去停車場開車，回來的時候把鑰匙和停車卡放前台就可以。

It is a short 15min walk from Penrith station and a cozy b&w. Breakfast is served to your room as the owners are elderly and want to keep covid safe rules ongoing. Otherwise, a very pleasant experience, neat room with kettle and coffee/tea if you need, tv, nice shower room and towels provided. If you want a less commercialised experience and more local experience, this b&w is recommended!

Этой ночью мы действительно не заметили внешнего layout, но на следующее утро мы увидели, что сад абсолютно красив. Мы остались в комнате № 3 – очень художественная комната королевы/короля с джакузи, некоторые закуски, молоко и бутылкой воды. Раскладка комнаты выдающаяся, и вы можете сказать хозяину, чтобы в нее поместили много любви 💝 Завтрак был также вкусный!! Есть несколько наборов вариантов, чтобы выбрать из – просто скажите хозяину, что за день до этого. В комнате есть также небольшой холодильник, где вы можете хранить свои напитки. Завтрак включает в себя хлеб, небольшие закуски и апельсиновый сок. Я действительно очень рекомендую его (любил 😘 – он чувствует себя как дома). Домой имеет только пять номеров, поэтому доступность довольно ограничена, но я все равно хочу рекомендовать его как можно большему количеству людей! ”

The room was very clean. The host very nice and the breakfast was delicious. I recommend it

Staff were the most friendly we've ever experienced The food we had was very nice The room we had was immaculate even if it was pink panther watching us lol , will definitely be going back again in the summer thanks to all the staff
