Aurora Beach Hotel

First impressions of this hotel were amazing but as the week went on there were a few *******. The rooms are clean but compact. We has a side room. With a side sea views and the maid did an excellent job. The pool area and bar were furnished to a high standard but the pool had a green tide mark running around the edge and although the pool water was clean it was off putting but did not stop us using the pool to cool down as it so hot. The beach bar run by Fortina was great with a beautiful view over the crystal clear ocean which was reached by some steps. The beach was pebbles and sea shoes highly recommended. Unfortunately there were no sunbeds or chairs on the beach so you couldn't sit by the sea.Fortina was great and her service was excellent. The ******* however were the amount of wasps...it was a complete nigh**are that many holiday makers ate their breakfast in their rooms, which was a.shame as breakfast choice was great. I know wildlife can't be helped but it was beyond a joke that pest control should have been called. The beach and main bar also ran out of draft beer and vodka and wasn't restocked whilst we were there. There are also no shower facilities if you have a late check and can't check out of your room late they only have the pool showers and you don't want a cold shower later in the evening although you are provided clean towels. Finally a walk to the nearest taveners was dangerous especially at night as no pathways. Staff however were friendly but overall a relaxing holiday but unfortunately would not return.

I stayed at the Aurora with my partner for five nights in September, and we could not have chosen a better hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful and able to help us with everything we needed, including booking a trip to the old town. Breakfast was great, and there was enough variation with options changing daily that there was something for everyone. The area was so beautiful and the beach bar/restaurant was a great place to eat - the lady who worked behind the bar was fantastic too. Only complaint was all the wasps at breakfast from the big wasp nest but it was mainly just a bit of a nuisance. Thank you everyone for making our trip so excellent.

A little gem of a hotel. Beautifully and professionally run by an excellent team of management and staff who can't do enough to help and advise you. Great facilities and amazing sea views. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. We will be coming back.

We had a very good stay at Aurora. The best bits were the friendly staff who were very attentive and helpful. They helped us book a taxi and let us check in early. The little private beach is beautiful. Although we didn’t use it, the pool was lovely with some sun beds to use. The only thing making our stay 4* rather than 5* is that in our apar**ent there wasn’t aircon in the bedroom making it a little uncomfortable, and the aircon in the main room didn’t work properly. It did the job but the swing feature didn’t work. The food was ok and breakfast was ok. The cocktails were a little weaker than some we have had at other hotels, but everything was good enough. We really enjoyed our stay overall and would probably come back for a day if we visit Corfu again.

The proprietors of this hotel seem to have missed their vocation-they aspire to be prison wardens but they are trapped in the hospitality industry. Never in 50 years of global travel have I been treated with such authoritarian rudeness. We were chased off the dinner terrace before we had a chance to finish our expensive wine with our dinner and sought refuge in our room where we were chatting quietly with the door open to allow fresh air through the room when another officious staff member insisted we close our door. We were at least 3 metres from the corridor listening in disbelief when she told us that “she HAD THE AUTHORITY to throw us out onto the street”. 11pm! Needless to say on the following day we took the earliest opportunity to hit the road and find better hospitality elsewhere.

La struttura non molto grande consente un soggiorno tranquillo e lo staff sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti. La piscina è ben tenuta sempre pulita e mai troppo affollata. Si mangia bene sia in albergo che nella meravigliosa terrazza al mare con discesa alla spiaggetta.

Onze ervaring met het hotel is super. Klein maar fijn. Hygiëne super. Eten à la carte was super lekker. Echt wij hebben er niks op aan te merken. Lakens en handdoeken werden meer vervangen dan dat er in de brochure staat. Als je kiest voor rust en kleinschalig...zeker doen.

Kalimera et efkaristo.🙏 on vient d y passer quatre nuits et ce n était que du bonheur. Toute l équipe est très sympathique, ce qui est proposé est un super rapport qualité prix et la piscine ne manque pas de charme . Bonne continuation 🙂

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans cet établissement. A 3 dans une très petite chambre (12 m2) dont les lits sont incorfortables et notre fils de 15 ans dormait le lit collé au nôtre. La clim est en supplément 10 e par jour et indispensable si on ne veut pas entendre le bruit incessant de la route. Location voiture au niveau de la réception tb ainsi que la réservation d'une journée à Aqualand. Au niveau restauration petit dej et dîner très basic et minimum syndical pour le déjeuner carte sans plus et cher. Apres avoir fait le tour de l'île l'emplacement est top car plage en contre bas mais attention transats souvent occupés par des gens de l'extérieur. En conclusion hôtel bon rapport qualité/prix mais sans plus. Dommage car fort potentiel.
