Luxury Desert Camp

Very nice luxury camp. The owner was very gentil,nice and funny with his anecdotes, info about Oman and a lot of interesting curiosities of beduine life. Good food there is always tea, coffee and dates, of course! I met a very lovely people there. I will never forget my first experience sleeping in the desert. Thank you very much, I feel very happy. I recommend this upscale camp.

We have a great experience in sand delight camp . sand delight camp It is amazing to see from above because there are sand hills on both sides and sand delight camp in between. And the manager staff is amazing. I am very happy.

Camp is very nice and closed to city as well.. entire team is very nice and helpful..Very nice experience and special Mr. Anwar camp manager.. very helpful and nice man...We got stuck in desert on the way and he come and helped us...

The desert is AMAZING, no need to comment on the surrounding landscape. Sand Delight Camp was one of the sweetest surprise of our whole trip in Oman. Jamal and Khalid were very kind and helpful: they organized a transfer for us (because we could not reach the camp with our 2wd car) and Khalid took us on a funny 'safari' tour to see the sunset, driving on the dunes like on a Rollercoaster and telling us stories about his Beduin family. They gave us free sledges and we had a lot of fun on the dunes. The tent was large and perfectly clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable: much much better than most of the other hotels we stayed at. We enjoyed a rich dinner with typical food: rice, soups, hummus, vegs, salads, different kinds of grilled meat, freshly made bread, fruit, dates, sweets. Breakfast was very good too (when I travel I like trying typical food, but I must admit I was very happy to have some Omani bread with Nutella :)). Finally, Jamal's assistance went far beyond the desert, and he was able to find a driver and organize a day trip for us to Jebel Akhdar on Christmas day: again, we could not go there with our 2wd car, and we would have missed something special without Jamal's help! I would definitely recommend to stay at Sand Delight Camp.

Wunderschönes Camp. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Einfach wundervoll. Eine schöne Erfahrung die man machen muss. Wer noch nicht in der Wüste war muss dahin. Das essen war klasse. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank das wir da sein durften

Aucune indication pour la direction de ce camp, nous avons tournée dans le désert près de 3h. Impossible de réussir a les avoirs au téléphone. Après avoir demander à 45 omanais différents la direction, plusieurs omanais nous informe qu’en faite ce camp est fermé. Il n’accueille personne. Malgré cela, la nuit a été débitée. Inadmissible. Tracer votre route, et n’allais surtout pas dans ce camp, de plus en tant que touriste ne connaissant pas le désert cela peu devenir dangereux !
