Extremely disappointed from beginning to the end of my one week stay, especially for the reputation of Wyndham. I discovered bugs in the room. Upon examination there were no rubber or guard around the glass of the windows and there was a huge gap from the top to the bottom where the bugs were freely coming in. I called the GM and he came and took me to 5 other rooms, 4 of which had the same problem. He apologized for the inconvenience and told me that he would credit my account with points. I informed him that I did not have an account but he insisted that I should register for one and then let him know the number.
The room I relocated to had a fowl odor so the manager used a Frebreeze spray and left a Glade plug-in. However, this did not ease the problem because I discovered that the odor was coming from the sofa, the drapes and the air condition vents. I went to the front desk and told the lady and who said that she will let the GM know. However, the GM never contacted me throughout my stay. I eventually purchased carpet powder and covered the entire room with it. I also inserted fabric softener sheets into the AC vents to freshen the air and sprayed Clorox Bleach Deodorizer on the sofa. I did all this just to accommodate my stay because I knew I would not be refunded.
Upon checkout I told the GM about my disappointments and that I will be leaving a negative review. He was very quick to say that all that I will be getting from Wyndham are point.
