Great stay in the classic historical building. It is very cozy feeling. There is no elevator, but the staff is super helpful in getting your bags up to your room. Great view of the canal and delightful juice and coffee machines available. Great location close to everything but not loud since it’s a straight off from main shopping areas

The view is amazing, and location was perfect if you want to walk or bike around. Be advised this building is very old so single pane windows and no AC. The weather was cold so the main heat in the building was on and my room was so hot I had to get the key from management to open the window. The window has no screen and opens up to the street so I could not keep it open. The noise level is high since right on the street as well. You can hear every time another person comes in or out, or the rooms above you. The room is very small, and the lighting is not good. This hotel felt more like a hostel to me, I felt like I was staying in a room in someone's house. If you are looking for a spacious room or comfort or quiet, I would not recommend this hotel.

Not Happy at all we paid for one night 450€ and the room was really dirty, no air conditioning, no refrigerator, absolutely disaster. 2/10

Check in process was very slow after I had already did it online -had to repeat everything and took a very long time They were very accommodating in storing our luggage the day before when we arrived early -appreciated that

Wonderful property along one of the canals and within walking distance of everything you'll want to do while in Amsterdam. Easygoing staff. Clean room. We had the best time.

We had a lovely stay at Hegra. The location is right in the heart of everything: shopping, bakeries and restaurants all close by. The front desk service was wonderful and the coffee machine was an extra bonus. Rooms were on the smaller side, but they made use of all the space in a smart and efficient way. My tween daughters and I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself is nice, clean and the staff very friendly - placed in a central though still quiet area by the kanal. But it was extremely warm in the room with poor air "flow" or conditioning, even with the windows open at all times. It was 25 degrees outside - but the room was 28 degrees, even if it was not placed on the sunny side of the kanal. Seeing as the duvet was a very thick and a winter-friendly version, it was a super warm night with almost no sleeo due to it. Which was sad, seeing as everything else was alright.

This boutique hotel has the nicest staff and very accommodating! You need to know there is no lift and stairs are very much old Amsterdam. We loved sitting at the cafe table on the canal in front with wine in the evening watching the tour boats go by as well as all the locals pass by. The neighborhood is so nice, clean and close walk to everything.
