Sagitario Menorca Mar Adults Only

A perfect stay at the Menorca Mar. Pristine rooms, very friendly staff, a beautiful pool with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas etc. An idyllic setting complimented by palm trees and peacefulness! Can’t fault it. A 20 minute walk to the marina where there are a plethora of restaurants but also enjoyed a lovely meal on site where you can have drinks on the poolside terrace. 10/10

Peaceful break in lovely apartments….. Friendly staff, always greeted with a smile… Room spotlessly clean and fresh towels daily…… Sunbeds plentiful and no reserving…… Food and drinks in restaurant great and very reasonable…… 10 minute walk to marina when taking the main road or a longer route by seafront…. Would I return? YES

This is a really lovely place for the most relaxing holiday. We travelled early September and were delighted to get a poolside apartment. Sunbeds are 10 steps from the door with a guaranteed parasol and little table. Little villas are perfect. Air conditioning in the bedroom which keeps the whole villa cool. Small Kitchenette perfectly adequate. Great tv with lots of uk channels!! Beds are two singles pushed together but really comfortable. Lovely bathroom. MenorcaMar apartments are spotlessly clean, right the way from our Villa through to reception and pool area. We saw a guy testing the water regularly. Lovely glass of fizz on arrival and a very helpful lady on reception. Every person on reception was equally helpful and smiley, giving us a wave each day as we passed through. I cut my foot one day on the uneven pavements (beware) out on the streets and she quickly found me plasters and a sterile cleaning fluid. All of which I took to my villa then returned later on. So kind. There’s a small restaurant and bar on site. We are there twice. Very nice food. You can also buy a drink there and take it back to enjoy around the pool. It is a very quiet place. There’s music playing quietly in the restaurant area but apart from that it’s sooo quiet!! I almost squirmed as I dragged my sun-bed round and it made that awful grinding noise! Found myself apologising to my sun bathing neighbours! This is an adults only place and there were young couples there but it’s definitely aimed more at slightly older people. It took about 15 minutes to walk briskly into Cala’n Bosch. We felt it was just a bit too far out and began to get a bit of a pain as the holiday drew on. We did it twice in a day once. Lunch and evening. We got the bus into Cuitadella a couple of times. Great busy old town. That made a nice change. MenorcaMar apartments had entertainment each evening. A different singer each night. We sat outside our Villa playing cards and listening. They were nice. Beware. The pool is very cold!! It takes a brave person to go in….but lots do! We would go back. It was a lovely holiday with great staff and a perfectly placed apartment.
