THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO US WITH *********** SERVICE: Dear Customer Service, Just experienced the most underhanded and sleazy act from this property you represent. I’m filling a complaint since we never canceled our stay, in fact we were looking forward at Füredi Apt. for a 2 nights stay over the weekend. Let me bring your up to speed how and what transpired, maybe the hosts will learn and clean up their hospitality actions. We arrived on time right after 3PM local checking time at their physical address they list. It was a garden-seating restaurant! Zero sign or posted evidence of the property. After 10 minutes of searching around we were directed across the 2 lane major street, which could look like our place of stay. Started to call the phone listed on the res., no answers, no message. Ouch. the whole situation started to feel weird! We kept shouting, maybe the host hears us. It was 38 celsius outside, so we decided to camp at the restaurant across directly watching the from steps, while having our meals. At 4:26PM, got a call from a man, saying that he is from the Füredi Apts and no room for us since we did not confirm our stay 24 hour prior to our arrival. A practice like this unheard, as a checking in guest? C’mon, top of that he kept repeating himself and even stated that this is our fault. Really? The entire scenario started to get very heated even got to the point that there was nam calling and still openly blaming us as a guest for his obvious failure to provide housing. One more he kept saying that he was calling our US cell phone which I have listed with *********** and couldn’t reach us. I kept informing him, that the host not allowed to cancel (only at act-of-god) ever in hotel business but the guest can and maybe subject to cancellation fee. I have advised him he better come up with a suitable accommodation within 10 minutes or I reach out for *********** for support and will do a write up on TripAdvisor and Google for rectification. At 5PM 6 miles away we checked in to an other hotel. At 6 PM the Füredi Apts called us that they are still waiting for us...Please do not insult our intelligence.... In recap, there was a ton of lies and hastily tried to correct their huge mistake after their may realized that there will be consequences...Really? 3 hours later of the checking in time... Look, I'm at level 3 and been using *********** for 12 years, never ever had such distasteful and unfair host within your partners who created a diszester for us.
