The Colosseum

Area is clean, below is a mini supermarket for groceries and a beach is in front of the building with a great view of the cruise ship. Next to the building on both sides and behind are old buildings, not so pleasant on the eyes if you pay attention.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is above a convenient store that the owner leases out. It is a five minute walk to all the shopping and restaurants where the cruise ships come in. There is a food court with a bar in the center of it and it had a DJ on Friday evening. The port is one block away if you want to get to another island. It was a bit hectic and dirty at the port but no hassles. Homer is the hotel manager and owner. Just ask him if you need anything. He was helpful and well connected. He gave me a low cost shuttle (prearranged)to the airport since it would have been hard to get a taxi that early in the morning. The price was low and well worth the stay. Currently they only had seven rooms but are adding on another twenty some rooms. I would stay there again.

The room was clean. However, I was not given a one queen bed, as requested, but two twin beds room which was somewhat an inconvenience due to my large physique. The hotel is in a good location in the town and has a lovely view.

This property is listed on Airbnb as well as *******. When I was looking both websites showed multiple rooms available. I booked through ******* as it was instant vs. Airbnb which required 24 hours before it was confirmed and I was looking for a room for that night. When I arrived at the property there was no one at the front desk. I used the ring doorbell and received a response that "no one was available to answer the ring". Thankfully a guest was sitting outside nearby and called the owner who said he was on his way over. Once he arrived he informed me that they were fully booked. I asked why both ******* and Airbnb showed multiple rooms available to book and he stated it took some time for the systems to register. He told me to cancel the reservation and I would get a full refund. I informed him that I could not cancel as it was too late and he would have to do it on his end. I was very disappointed with this property, I paid for a taxi there and then had to pay for another taxi to another property. It was dark out and thankfully I was with my husband but the area doesn't seem all that safe to be alone at night waiting or trying to figure out where you will go to next. In the end I had to contact ******* and explain to them what happened and request a refund. They said they would contact the property which they were unable to and eventually they gave me a refund but not after spending almost an hour on the phone explaining what happened to two representatives

Better than expected. Simple, clean, close to ferry terminal and heart of the city.

Easy to find, well greeted by the host, everything well explained, gave good and clear information. Very clean close to city's downtown 👌 Cozy and clean, highly reccomended Very close to bus station, close to ferry terminal and port, easy walking distance to city center. supermarket downstairs.

Just a lonely room near the center of town. Clean and everything was okay.

Close to the town, no dining within proximity. Cute and friendly place.

Room was clean on arrival. 5 min walk to Port Zante was a plus. Beds comfortable, no issues with hot water. Staff and owner are very welcoming. The room has a fridge, but there is microwave and electric kettle in the hall. If you have heavy luggage do remember you need to lift to get up the stairs as the guest house is on the first floor. Only issue was the direlect property next door which was an eyesore.
