Budget Inn Breezewood

Low budget, clean motel right off the highway. Front desk staff courteous and helpful. No frills, but easy on the wallet if you’re just passing through.

Very helpful and accommodating. I really appreciate their flexibility with me checking in later.

It was clean.... But needs updating. This is a bare bones type of motel. The mattress was too firm for us. There was nice hot water but not much pressure.

Basic hotel, but very clean and comfortable. Had fridge and microwave in the room. Met all of our needs as we only needed a place to sleep.

I was too tired to drive any further and darkness was descending. So, I stopped in Breezewood to rest. In reviewing where to stay, I saw two hotels that were equally highly rated, but one was almost a third in price. How could this be? I found the answer when I checked into my room and the shock wore off. It was something from the 40s, but nothing had been restored, including the carpet. It was true that I slept okay with the noise from the nearby highway only waking me up sporadically. Also true that the rechargeable outlets were handily beside the bed. And it had a bathtub, which is my preference. I found nothing to alarm me about its cleanliness. Thus, the conundrum in how to score. My hotel in Pittsburgh the night before was in the luxury class, but the survey does not give points for newness and sumptuousness. Was equal value received at this minimalist site under review? I would have to say yes. But, be aware of the lack of any ambiance. This is as basic as it gets.

You get what you pay for. The room looked ok. But the property is at the end of the highway off ramp. Lots of traffic and extremely loud. We knew it would be a problem when we went in the room and saw they give you ear plugs the drown out the sound. Needless to say, we did not stay. Took the loss for the room and stayed at the Days Inn just down the street. Asked for a room away from the street and it was a huge difference with the noise.

Compared to some high-end hotel chains this place was extremely clean. Nothing fancy about it just clean and comfortable for the price.

Very nice owner and his son checked me in. Perfect for what it is - cheap place to stay in a pinch. Fancy - No. Clean and well maintained - YES. First time have ever had ear plugs issued by the place waiting in the room. Yes, they were needed, but the fact that they were provided tells you what you need to know about the people who run the place. Bottom line - If I had to, I would stay there again.,

Cheapest property in the area and I was a little worried about what the condition would be but I was pleasantly surprised. Great and accommodating, family-owned. The rooms are no frills (don't need them) but still have a large flat panel TV, mini fridge, and microwave. Would stay again.
