The Sea Hotel by Grupotel - Adults Only

Taking all things into consideration The Sea Hotel is probably the best holiday hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are not very big but are modern, clean and in very good condition. All the staff are very friendly and efficient, especially in the restaurant and all the food was varied and excellent quality. The location is superb, literally being on a beach and there are nature reserves at both ends of the resort which are ideal for walking. We visited in March and were the only Brits staying at the hotel during our 10 day stay. Ca’n Picafort seems to be ‘a German resort’, not that it was a problem for us.

The Sea Hotel is very modern and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable. All the staff are very helpful and can’t do enough for you. The food is excellent and there is a great choice. The hotel is next to the beach. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is an adults only hotel.

There is almost nothing to fault this hotel, beautiful inside and out, great location right next to a beautiful sandy beach, excellent food, there was always a special at dinner, for example a chocolate or cheese fountain, live music every night, they also had English speaking channels on the TV in the room , the only two small problems were that the lights on the balconies couldn't be turned off, but when it got cloudy it didn't matter and the second problem was a restaurant near the hotel where music was playing loudly almost every night, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Booked this hotel through EasyJet holidays. The transfer time from airport to hotel is about 50 mins in a private taxi. The hotel is definitely on the beach. Walking out of the restaurant or bar will take you on to some sand that the hotel has put there, the beach is over a small wall, but it is that close. We had a standard room with breakfast. The breakfast was really fresh and plenty of it, even when close to closing. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Could not fault the staff! The standard room was modern light and with a touch of class, mood lighting good too. There was a mini fridge that we used to chill water. The bathroom is clean and modern. The hotel gives you the impression that there are loads of sunbeds on the beach, but in fact the hotel has about 20 on the beach and you have to pay €15 per day and book in advance. What makes it worse is by 1300 these are in the shade because the hotel faces the wrong direction (for sunbed use) and due to the hotels height there is no sun. There are sunbeds on the beach that belong to the local government, these were fine and plenty were available for a €18.50 charge per day., but with these you were on the beach with fresh sand that is washed by the sea and could turn the beds to follow the sun. The pool is south facing I think, but because the hotel is built around it, it does not get the sun till afternoon. In the morning there are (about 15) sunbeds but all are taken in the afternoon. The steam room did not function properly and had small tiles missing where you would sit. The sauna was good. I felt let down with this area, plus you had to book it and wait 20 mins for the hotel to turn them on. On the hole we had a pleasant stay here. I would not return but the staff, location and cleanliness I could not fault.

The hotel is right next to the beach. Fantastic hotel with first class service. Great food choice. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The hotel is very modern and very clean.

I'm still here and I'm not leaving! Wow, what a great place! Excellent staff, beautiful room, huge balcony overlooking the Med--everything and more than anyone could ask for. Steps to the beach. I enjoyed the humor of the (egg man) at breakfast. He always has a smile on his face! This trip was our return to where we honeymooned quite a few years ago. All positive. Thank you for a great experience.

The Sea Hotel by Grupotel exceeded all our expectations. The location, the room, and the sleeping conditions were perfect. The beach is literally just one step away from the restaurant's terrace, and the view is lovely. The hotel offers a lot of facilities, including a pool, Spa, gym and a very relaxing solarium, where one can get a perfect tan while enjoying at the same time the view over the beach and Ca'n Picafort Bay. The restaurant is flawlessly organized, and the lounge bar complements the drinks with live music every evening. A special mention for the performance of Ruth Calixta. But if I had to pick only one great thing about this hotel that made our holiday so enjoyable, I'd definitely choose the staff as we were really impressed by the genuine smiles, efficiency, politeness and proactive attitude of the personnel.

Myself and my friend (both 20) came here for a week on holiday, and had the loveliest experience ever. Firstly the restaurant/ bar was incredible. We are both vegetarians and were amazed by the variety of options, all the food was such good quality as well. The restaurant manager goes above and beyond for everybody staying at this hotel. The restaurant staff are all so attentive, friendly and welcoming, you can really see they make it their best efforts that everybody is happy and enjoying their meals/time. Was amazed to also see the gluten free inclusivity. Every night was something different, whether this be a chocolate fountain, sushi, and freshly cooked food in-front of yourselves by the chefs who were always happy to meet your needs, and lots of yummy desserts! Hats off to the restaurant manager for all of his impressive ideas and how he will happily work amongst all the waiting staff and help them out! The drinks from the bar are also great, they have all the drinks you can think of and can make them by request, our favourite was a strawberry daiquiri but with vodka. The hotel was in a perfect location, right on the beach with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants surrounding, however we were never disrupted by any nightlife in the evenings, If you wished to have a more peaceful evening. The beach is very scenic, the hotel has a little private area out front on the beach which you can hire sun beds on, this was perfect to not be in amongst the crowd. The cleaning staff did such a good job to always make sure our room was clean to a very high standard and presentable without fail every day. The hotel itself is very modern, very clean, and absolutely no faults regarding the hotel. The reception staff were always polite and said hello when entering the hotel, and happy to answer any questions we had, such as about bus times etc. Alcudia is only a bus ride away, took us about 10 mins, the bus stop is just down the road. This was perfect for a day out or so. We also went out for a night out in Alcudia. We also hired push bikes for the day where we rode to a nearby nature reserve, definitely worth a visit. We booked side sea view, however were really lucky to end up with a corner balcony therefore a front sea view and side as the Balcony was huge. Overall we had such a wonderful stay, no issues at all, don’t understand why this hotel isn’t 5 stars. Definitely worth a visit!!

Brilliant hotel in a wonderful location. Great service from friendly staff, excellent food choices for breakfast and dinner and a good quality bar at good prices. An issue with the curtain rail in our room was sorted within half an hour. Well worth the modest upgrade to a sea view room - see attached picture! Really cannot fault it.
