Excellent location in the heart of CBD. Huge Woolsworth store and restaurants within walking distance. Mattress was little too hard and pillows were flat n musty. Cab ride from airport was abt $35 and 20 mins away.

Excellent stay. Nice amenities and close to the action in Darwin. Will definitely be staying there next time in Darwin.

Found this hotel too basic not at all like the usual Hilton Hotel. However the staff at the reception (the French man can’t remember his name) was most helpful.

Excellent all around. At slightly greater expense. But worth the convenience
Everything about this stay was great. The room was excellently clean, bed was very comfortable, and the chairs. The atmosphere was nice and quiet with only the sound of the odd person here or there. The staff were all courteous and respectful, and attended to my requests/questions in a prompt and efficient manner. The food was delicious, whether it was room service at 9:30pm or the breakfast buffet at 7am, (very nice coffee too). Most importantly, the staff made me feel like this was my hotel :) :)

Television would not work at all despite repeated attempts by the staff to get it running. Appeared to be an IT issue. While the manager provided a bottle of wine and cheese board in lieu, the next morning when I got up at 04:00 to catch an early flight, the coffee pod machine didn't work. I don't think it had ever had a de- calcification clean before. While I appreciated the apologies and sincerity of the staff (not their fault) I think its poor form on the management of the hotel not to have adequate maintenance systems in place to take care of these minor issues - that cause angst and resentment among customers. I also tried to leave feedback on the Hilton website and spent 15 minutes searching - only to find that no such mechanism exists, which is why I'm writing this review. Apart from this - nice hotel and centrally located to everything.

This pretends to be five stars. But it is boring, tired and would be exceptionally good if it was three stars. That was the standard of the room and breakfast. So I rated it three stars. Trip advisor requires 200 characters in a review. And so the rest of this review will waste your time. Like the hotel.

Hotel staff were exceptional. Over the last month, I have stayed at Sofitel Sydney Sofitel Brisbane Fullerton Hotel Sydney and Stanford Melbourne. As much as these hotels all do a very good job the service at the Hilton Darwin surpassed them all.
